I’ve had my suspicions about some of my fosters in the past.

Gizmo clearly took his neighbour harassing duties very seriously and had to engage a replacement as soon as he found out he was moving. He probably held interviews for the position to make sure he found just the right cat for the job.

My understanding is that cats are contractually obligated to follow you into the toilet. Good work to the kitten on catting so effectively. Cat Four understands that she has to come in, but is highly distractable and does things like wee in the sink which is definitely not in the contract.
I have been leaving the door open for years because Cat One and Two get annoyed and upset respectively. Cat Three is afraid of the bathroom so he pokes his head in the door and we count that as done.

@learieonthewildmoor both kittens definitely got that bit of the memo about catting. They usually sit in line just outside the toilet door.

They are also very good at the cat job of being ready in position to stare creepily at you every time you come into a room.

The voodoo doll has been discarded. I think Frank may have been disappointed that it didn't allow him to control his siblings.

I had a foster who was over enthusiastic about toilet duty and thought it meant he had to dive in to inspect the contents. After a couple of near misses I enforced door closing, much to his disgust.

The door stayed open while I was showering, & he had a complicated game which involved waiting until I reached for the towel with my eyes closed and then getting in the way. I think he got a point every time I grabbed him instead.
