The lady cats are having a spa fortnight in Italy.

Bills for flights, accommodation, food, booze, medical insurance and legal fees (not to mention a fund for bribing officials at Ljubljana Prison) are allegedly being sent to an unmonitored email address.

They worked collaboratively on their thesis: The Psychological Effects on Humans of Releasing a Slow and Steady Variety of Variously Injured but Still Incredibly Speedy Rodents into their Indoor Environment.

I think our cats contributed to the research for that thesis.

Herbie is hoping to gain a position as a guard cat. He thinks if dogs can do it....
He is spending ages on sentry duty on the windowsill, but he does sometimes fall asleep on the job, so I don't know if he is a suitable candidate.

Either that, or he may want to set up a furniture 'restoration' business.

Kitty’s never had time to study before but now she’s kitten-free she’s working on a degree in speleology. She’s very interested in underground spaces.

I didn’t set my alarm properly this morning & she helpfully woke me up, 15 mins late but still in time to get to the gym before work.

He might just work smarter. Doing 15 minutes activity, and then finding a warm sunbeam to reflect in, is part of his method. He certainly looks as if it is all going well for him!

I’ve just realised that for the past half hour I’ve been sitting on the hard floor in order to stroke Kitty, who’s on a comfy stool.

Call it her reward for not letting me oversleep this morning.

Four cats on the bed this morning...

Kitty watched as I left the flat with my work stuff. I bet she’s fast asleep under the duvet by now.

Someone in another group I’m in had the brilliant idea of hanging radiator beds over doors, so we’ve done that & I’m wondering if she’ll jump up there.

It was a 2 minute job with stuff I already had, so much less fussed than I was about her tower.

That is a genius idea Empress! I’d love to do it for Boone but he couldn’t jump down, my poor boy. Although I am currently so so proud as he got onto the couch on his own! He can’t do that normally. The 3 weekly solensia and steroids really is making such a difference (and to the bank account too 😦😦😦).

Eko would LOVE the door bed. But bless him, he weighs so much I’d be worried for the door’s hinges and structural integrity!

This is one time when being 4ft 11 is a bonus, @LostCats - I can walk through the door with no concerns about bashing my head
