Toad has a new toy. It has been chewed, bitten, kicked, and thrown around the room. I think that means he likes it.

I also bought them Churo pops which look disgusting, like a jellified lik-e-lix (or however you spell them) but Frankenstein in particular LOVED them.

I sometimes wish I knew what went on between those furry ears - especially when they are deep sleep dreaming lol

In Fred's case I suspect not a lot goes on if anything, whether he's asleep or not. He's a darling sweet boy who purrs if you look at him but I don't think he's blessed in the brain department 😁

Having an early breakfast

After all the shit Kitty must have gone through before being rescued (aged 5, not spayed) I still get a lump in my throat sometimes when I watch her sleeping.

Sybil is clearly not a proper cat.
TC's dad has just popped in (back to finish clearing out the house) and has given us a cat house - bought for TC but he rejected it unused.

Even though he makes out it's too small for him.

Eko got himself into quite the fight this morning. He won’t let us touch him as he’s clearly in a lot of pain. It was so bad I wasn’t sure if it was human or cat that hurt him 💔💔💔

So now we wait for him to allow us near him so we can check for injuries.
Nothing appears broken or badly bleeding as DH managed a quick check and wipe down. But his fur was all spiky and edgy from fighting.

The way he is acting I think it was a surprise attack as he was going about his morning as he is extremely skittish.

Poor Eko, I hope it’s not serious.

Well of course TC Gizmo wouldn't like Sybil's cat bed, it's far too pretty for a tough cat like him. His position in his boy cat bed looks very uncomfortable though, he's a strange cat!

Cardiff Gizmo looks very snuggly. My Cardiff tribe are mainly curled upon fleece blankets, although Vixen is still in her paper bag and Frankenstein is happily sleeping in the bloody freezing utility room.

@LostCats I hope Eko let's you check him out soon and it's just his pride that is injured.

He is a strange cat, in that he lies in positions which do not seem comfortable.

I've got a few pictures of him curled up in a ball, but I haven't managed to get one comfy looking picture of him in his igloo.
