He’s less thrilled this imposter keeps coming back. Today it brought a friend.

‘Get off that phone and serve me. Milk! Lightly Warmed!!’

’I said LIGHTLY. Takeaway cup as usual.’

Thanks for the new thread Shell.
I shall share a picture of 'store cat' who I think lives in the stables next door to my store. Never got close enough to stroke him yet though.

She was out in that four hour thunder n lightning storm and refusing to run across the lawn to safety. I felt so mean 😥

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats that looks like a big cat! (He also looks like he's been scalped in the second photo). I wonder if this is going to be your next TC?

coastergirl · 21/09/2024 23:02

Benny has been extremely demanding tonight!

Good to hear from you, @Supersimkin7
Is that a very big beanbag he’s on?

'Yer name is not on the list so you are not coming in!'
Love Louie the guard cat!
But I cannot see the second cat, or, is the cat on the wall actually the second cat?

He is properly enjoying that fuss!

Could be the Beast of Beaconsfield 😁

Very sadly I've had to make the decision to rehome Paddington. The situation with Penelope isn't improving. And it's not fair on her. I'm heartbroken, he's a lovely, lovely boy. And he's done nothing wrong.

RumNotRun · 22/09/2024 08:13

Oh Toddler, I'm so sorry. I'm sure he'll find a fantastic new home though, especially now you've given him a great start. Hugs to you, Penelope, and Paddington.x.x

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/09/2024 08:22

Very sorry to hear that it hasn't worked out Toddler. Cats can be difficult buggers at the best of times and you can never predict quite how a new introduction will go. As Rum said, you've given him a great start and I'm sure he'll find an ideal new home.

Toddlerteaplease · 22/09/2024 08:23

He will. But the thought of him going back to the rescue is breaking my heart when more. I'm hoping they'll let me do a direct adoption/ let me hang on to him until he has a home lined up. But then I think the dinner the break is made the better. He keeps giving me the big eyes. And it's unbearable.

RumNotRun · 22/09/2024 08:40

He's a fine looking lad, I'm sure he won't be waiting long for a home.

Have you all seen Starmer's new addition? What a cutie 🥰 (the kitten obviously, not Starmer!)

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/09/2024 08:46

Siberian kitten indeed. Surely a Labour leader should have a proletariat moggy instead.
And as for calling it 'Prince'. Wouldn't Comrade have been more appropriate?
🤣

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/09/2024 08:58

No offence intended to anyone who might just have a cat called Prince on this thread BTW 😁

Toddlerteaplease · 22/09/2024 09:04

I'm disappointed he doesn't have a political name like the other government cats have.

Toddlerteaplease · 22/09/2024 09:04

I'm disappointed he doesn't have a political name like the other government cats have.

I think that's because he's Starmer's family cat rather than staff. When Starmer is no longer PM then Prince will go with him, whereas the staff cats with political names will stay in their work residences (until retirement).
