@SequentialAnalyst little Mittens is lush! We had a cat called Mittens who lived to be 22 years old. My Dad acquired her when he went to the livestock auctions in Hexham. He was only there to buy chickens, but at the end of the lots, the auctioneer said he had two feral farm kittens which had lost their Mum, so needed homes. My Dad took one, and a lady buying a goat took another.

Finlay had been freed - we finally took the crate down today - he is most bemused
Yesterday we tried him outside with harness and leash - it did not go well! He entangled himself in the garden furniture and managed to wriggle legs out and was rapidly heading for next door garden through joining fence when I managed to grab him and then DS bribed him back with Dreamies

Has not had!!

I apologise in advance as this is about D.O.Gs not cats, but if you like juvenile humour like Ted and Sausage Party, check out Strays. It's about a small dog (voiced by Will Ferrell) that gets dumped and makes friends with other dogs, but it's not a wholesome family movie.

I collect Carltonware from the 1930s onwards. In normal times Finlay has no interest in it - but had to empty one bottom shelf as you can see because when he was in crate he got bored and could fiddle with bits through the bars with a few breakages
I just haven’t had chance to clean up properly yet and put things back yet
I do have another unit at other side of room with the novelty range china - pics from a while ago so probably gained a few more bits since
DS wants the lobsters when I go!!!

@JaceLancs I really like the cabbage/veggie ones. Hope Finlay didn't get his paws on any that were precious/irreplacable!

A little update on my foster cat: she seems to be eating more today and last night fetched a bit of curled ribbon from the hallway into her room while I was asleep and played a bit with it. It's the first time I've seen her play (on the puppy cam), I'm hoping this means she feels a bit happier. I've been worried that she hasn't been eating enough as she's quite thin, but she emptied her bowls today and has tucked into the food I then put down too. I still can't get near her, but I've been leaving her door a tiny bit open and when I'm asleep sure ventures into the hallway, although I don't think she's going far.

Have you tried catnip toys? Molly Mice are a favourite in our household since the demise of Culpepper, who had the best ones ever

I think so too 😊 slow progress but that's ok.

Not heard of Molly Mice, I'll look into it. I do need to get her more toys. They don't think she had any toys or anything really where she lived before 😢
