Something strange is afoot in my house tonight. Frank voluntarily not only came over to my sofa, but half lay on me purring and occasionally exposing his tummy for tickles. Even after he moved, he was still sitting near me and let me stroke him. I think he may be lulling me into a false sense of security before murdering me in my sleep tonight.

I may have made a rod for my own back today.

Making a roll for my lunch, and saw a sweet Tobias face peering into the kitchen. Didn't think, and offered him an end off the slice of H.A.M.. Clearly a) he's never had ham before (or forgotten about it), and b) thinks it's even better than roast chicken.

On the bright side, Girlcat wandered over and requested some too, and there were no signs whatsoever of them squabbling over the very rare delicacy (he gets chicken usually, she shares sliced roast beef with me).

@LostCats we love them too much! They were rescue kittens and I’m so glad they said we had to take two.

Tobias is making such progress! I know I've said it before but it's worth repeating: I'm delighted that he and Girlcat get along so well.

Neither paws has been in 3 times today and shady is in TROUBLE

Here is my gorgeous girl. She has been ill for the past few days. I suspect from eating something she shouldn't have. Trip to the vet for just under £100. Today she is feeling much better... So has gone out on another hunting mission to find some unsuitable things to eat and throw up ...

How can Shady be in trouble? Everyone knows black cats are innocent and perfectly behaved 😇

I was making a lovely sub sandwich happily for lunch when I heard a snuffling behind me. He snuck up, grabbed 4 slices of BBQ brisket and ran off with them flapping out the side of his mouth
