Why? There's a million places for them both to sit, they're not normally affectionate with each other.

Another triumph for pet accessory choices here.

I can recommend the one on the right. ‘XL DOG’ size does the trick nicely for the lady in her prime.

Hilarious moment last night - I was finishing off garden stuff when idiot neighbour tried calling Shadow in for midnight dinner...

Shadow came to within about 10m of the house, stared, shouted, and wouldn't go any further. I moved to the far end of the garden so I couldn't be accused of getting in his way, and... nope. Firmly refused to go in. Idiot neighbour shouted "BYE THEN" at him and slammed the front door.

Badly behaved? This little shit "did one" over the back fence a couple of days ago. I had to go to the street behind, work out where he was and ask a complete stranger if I could tramp through her house, down her garden, drag the little nob-end off poor stranger's fence, back through the house, back down the road, up my road and finally in. I am scratched to shit.

Yesterday we celebrated the 7th anniversary of his Homing Day though 🥰

Shadow sounds like my resident git. He comes home bang on dinner time. And then twats about refusing to come in.

Cat. He's just brought me a present of half a mouse.

Worst is he catches them the other end of the village and then carries them home making a blood curdling noise like he's broken his leg. Then he gets home, feels a bit peckish and eats them instead of leaving a present.

I got to feed and check up on DD's DCats the other week. At least one of them actually uses the scratching post

I want to join! Both of mine are good cats today. On the left is Ragdoll Neville and on the right is 20 year old Molly, adopted last year. They tolerate each other, and are doing well today, probably because they're both melting in the heat!

A cat that actually uses the scratching post provided? Blimey, I wouldn't have believed that if it weren't for the action photo.😂

Sadly Tobias has picked up where Boycat left off with scratching the walls, and taken it to the next level by ripping into any cardboard boxes that are full enough so they don't move when he launches himself at them..

I have procured some cardboard scratchers, now just to work out how/where to attach them to walls round the house. - he won't touch the one that can move about when he's vigorously scratching
