Walt and Benny!!! The sheer melt of the heart.

Leroy is majestic from any angle.

We’ve got to pay extra at the vet for a pet-icure to get Havelock’s claws clipped. They complained last time. Not as much as he did, one suspects.

The cat in the car seat is so funny. It reminds me of a tweet I saw years ago from someone who tweeted that he was driving home with about a mile to go. Suddenly he noticed his cat walking down the road. He opened the door to investigate and the cat jumped in with a 'Ah my feline Uber has arrived' expression.

Walter and Benny are so lovely 💖💖💖

Here we are - I exaggerated the distance the cat had walked.

I bet when the cat was telling his friends about this, he boastfully claimed he'd walked five miles.

😸😸😸 TheShellBeach I bet he did!

Florissante · 09/08/2023 17:08

And he did it all on an empty stomach because he'd never ever been fed. Ever.

Just like all the NMCs who turn up at our doors, making out it's been YEARS since they had a pouch of Felix.

Woo-Hoo!!! DH's cancer is, to quote the surgeon, "curable" and "we can cure this" 😁 Don't get me wrong, it's gonna be a slog, it's gonna be unpleasant, but it's doable.

Leroy does not care as long as DH doesn't get above himself and try to sleep in his own bed.

coastergirl · 09/08/2023 22:25

@YesItsMeIDontCare that's fantastic news. So pleased for you!

Thanks for all the kind words about Walter and Benny. I'm so, so pleased how well they're getting on.

That really is exceptionally good news.
Ansolutely delighted for you and your DH.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 09/08/2023 23:15

Thank you all 🥰

I might get a better night's sleep tonight! Anyone know how to stop a cat from snoring? Politely, obvs. I'm quite attached to my limbs 😂

TheLongRider · 10/08/2023 00:50

I hope DH's treatment goes smoothly, I'm relieved for you too YesItsMeIDontCare.

LostCats · 10/08/2023 08:09

Ah that’s absolutely fantastic news Yes! Yey!

ps, no help for snoring cats. I guess think of it as a lullaby? 😁

RumNotRun · 10/08/2023 08:16

@YesItsMeIDontCare great news!! I've never managed to stop my cats from snoring. I have tried gently nudging them but I usually just get a dirty look and then they go back to snoring.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/08/2023 09:04

Great news!

nettie434 · 10/08/2023 09:25

Defiantlynot41 · 10/08/2023 09:33

@YesItsMeIDontCare that's such great news for you and your DH. As for the snoring, no idea but I find it cute that they are sooo relaxed

TheShellBeach · 10/08/2023 09:56

I'm so glad that you and your DH got good news about treating his cancer, @YesItsMeIDontCare
That's such a relief for you.
Re - cats snoring - years ago, I actually picked old Buster up bodily and moved him to a different position on the sofa.
All that happened was he started snoring again after five minutes.

Oh that is adorable Shell 🥰

He starts off cute, then gets louder and louder, then makes a noise like a deflating ballon and goes back to quiet cute snores again 😁
