Linney has had a very tiring day.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats unfortunately it is not. I wasn't fast enough.

Linney and RumNotRun's cat look like entrants for the White Cat Appreciation Day Award. I don't know if there actually is an appreciation day for white cats but there's definitely one for black cats, so why not have one for white cats too. Every colour cat should have their own official day!

Girlcat would do OK out of that.

Clearly a black cat to anyone who sees her.
Look closely when the light is just right, and you can see she's charcoal tabby, at least on the head, legs and tail.
Part her coat, or shave her, and she's silvery white under the black nose to tail.

Poor Doris (belonging to FWK) has been struggling this summer, as she's been showing signs of going on heat every three weeks or so. Been for tests (ultrasound) and has come back with two bald patches, one on each side. Bloods next apparently.

I thought your FWK had had them "done"? There's a slight chance a tiny bit of tissue was left behind which is doing the hormonal stuff.

Yes - both Doris and Cedric are spayed.
And yes - the assumption is that something was left behind when Doris had the OP.

Thanks all - I've passed on your sympathy to FWK. She is expecting the vet to confirm at the end of the week, but the likelihood is that Doris will need another op to remove anything missed the first time. 😿

Prince chased him out.

Am very upset as I think little Prince just wanted to sit next to H.

Pants. DH has cancer. Leroy gives zero fucks and demanded that DH break out the laser dot. DH complied - obvs.

@YesItsMeIDontCare sorry to hear the news. Hope you and your husband are ok, and that things go well. Leroy is clearly just trying to take your mind off things (or he's being an asshole like most cats!)
