Someone is probably going to get a fairly sore tummy (or bum) soon if it had those chillis in them!

Everyone’s updates have triggered wails of laffs here despite a rough week for Coaster and Shell.

Shell - get a full blood count. The doc did me cos moany (me not him) and they came back with loads of bits missing eg iron and b12. Very common, very fixable.

That's where we differ Lana - I have the Ashes test match on. Currently wonderin g if England are going to do their usual trick of dragging defeat from the jaws of victory.

They all seem remarkably happy and free from any ill effects. Even the litter trays are no worse than usual.

Frankenstein nearly always sleeps in the loaf position, occasionally in a circle, but the last few days he has been showing how long he is, and lying next to me. I'm hoping this is him growing more confident and secure as he's always quite timid (unless there's human food on offer!).

I know at least one has been in today because DH and I went to get our groceries and when we got home, the food bowls had been licked clean.

We've all been through it or know we will go through with our own fur babies. Your grief is still raw right now. It will get easier but it takes time and it's still very early days.
