Think there is a problem with her right eye. (Not the one she punctured a few years ago. It's been funky fir a while. (Not unusual) but now she really doesn't like it being cleaned at all. Back to the vet tomorrow. Sod's Law being what it is. Cheddar is having a scale at polish at my parents vet 25 miles away tomorrow!

I healed a 7 year old ulcer with manuka honey, manuka honey alginate and lyofoam extra once. Poor man was lined up to have the leg off because it would not heal.

Snorg is very good, at least the pain must be improved now. She needs a chart to point to. 😺 😾 😿 is the best I can come up with now.

We have a box of honey dressings at work: but we rarely use them. Paediatrics tend to heal fairly quickly!

@Allergictoironing I tried that. It didn't work!

Yes children heal up annoyingly quickly! Little sods running round with all that human growth hormone and fully functioning bodies.

Makes me sick 😩

I recently discounted a return to riding after musing I can break my arm for free. You don’t slide out of the saddle at 45 you break an arm.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/03/2023 14:26

Back at the vet for a check up. New swelling. But vet doesn't think it needs stiches. Got a weeks worth of antibiotics, again. And review in a week.

At least she’s good at taking her tablets poor girl.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/03/2023 17:29

My current view! I've tried explaining that scampi and chips is not fit cats with delicate tummies!

Snorg will be the death of me!

But their little pinched faces….

Toddlerteaplease · 02/03/2023 21:13

They are not starving to death🤣

Woken up to a very congested Snorg and there is blood everywhere. Suspect she has an abscess that's burst. Back to the vet!

Wolfiefan · 03/03/2023 09:38

Oh no. Hope for better news later.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 09:53

I'm very impressed that she's benefiting on my bed and hers, and on the laminate. But completely missed the carpet!

I knew the swelling yesterday wasn't right but the vet said it was fine.

Good grief she’s going through it. It’s a full time job owning Snorg isn’t it?

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 03/03/2023 12:20

Poor Snorg and poor you! Harry sends her his love

Yarnosaura · 03/03/2023 12:24

Oh poor Snorg, fingers crossed this is a turning point for her recovery Flowers

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 12:24

She's going back to theatre for a washout and re suturing. She went AWOL so had to phone the vet, to say we would need to postpone the appointment. Then the little sod turned up again. No idea what she was hiding. I looked everywhere. Yep she's a full time job!

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 12:25

I'm a bit annoyed that she was seen yesterday and was palmed off when I said the swelling was new. The pic last night looks like it's about to burst!

It’s worth a complaint. I mean we do all this training so we know what we’re doing don’t we?

There would be carnage if air traffic controllers fucked up as much a clinical staff do.

TokyoSushi · 03/03/2023 13:11

Oh Snorg, sending get well wishes!

Cheddar's face in the scampi picture is just fabulous, so grumpy, beautiful!

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 15:02

Bloods normal, Which I'm happy about. Not really worth a complaint I don't think. It is what it is.

Poor thing! I hope surgery goes well and she's back home soon 🤞

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 18:12

Surgery went well. They've put in different stitches. Non dissolvable ones this time. And taken some swabs as I suggested she might need some different antibiotics. As she'd already had a weeks worth of co amoxiclav.

Wolfiefan · 03/03/2023 18:30

Here’s hoping the new ones work and this is the start of her recovery.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/03/2023 18:44

Fingers crossed. Picking her up at 7.30
