Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him

Thanks all. We are now away for a few days so will pass on messages on our return. Mrs Grumpy misses him particularly because when we walk the dogs she always took him, as he was so well behaved. (I get the sandy coloured dog who is mad as a box of frogs...).
I spotted this sign on a billboard at Hamburg station yesterday. Sent it to FWK who thinks it is Doris. A picture if Doris included to compare and contrast 😹. A relative of TC though surely?

It's Cedric that's grey. (Doris' sibling). Cedric identifies as a boy cat, with he and him pronouns. It's fair to say that the vet now identifies him as a girl though 🙀.

Just head the normally very placid Karl growling through the window. Think I may have spotted the problem. TC is balancing on an old gas cylinder for access.

TC does look a tad precarious there, I could swear I can actually see him wobblying and swaying in that photo!

I've also been asked by NDN not to give TC a pouch anymore when I let the dogs out in the day. When NDN gets in later TC now attacks him if he doesn't get fed again immediately 😹.
But he looks soooooo hungry when waiting by his food cupboard...

I'm not sure your NDN is thinking straight. If he gets mauled when TC has had his lunch, he's going to get eviscerated if he comes home to a non-fed TC.

I stupidly opened the top window in the living room today. Had to quickly dump a most offended Basil off my lap in order to close it again to protect our property from hostile elements..
