We were out of space so I thought I'd do the honours

Leroy woke me up at 5:50am to tell me he needed to pee and I needed to watch for predators.

He uses a litter tray in a bathroom ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️

Supersimkin2 · 23/09/2022 08:17

Respect, Yes. I got up after 5 hours kip cos Prince doesn’t fancy fresh tuna. He wanted to keep me in the loop.

As part of his zero-waste enforcement policy, Havelock ate it. I’m soaking wet in my nightie on the balcony holding a towel to dry them both off when they’ve finished patrol. Havelock doesn’t like wet fur, and now Prince can’t bear it either.

Maybe pic of Leroy might wake me up.

Here's a recent one of the li'l furball 🥰

Anything could happen in a domestic bathroom though, if the immersion heater explodes he needs a human shield to protect him.

PeloFondo · 23/09/2022 12:38

"God I've got CAT stuff to do, hurry up and take your stupid photo"

No immersion heater Fluffy. Combi boiler serviced last year (next due end of Sept) and heating not on.

I guess a toilet roll could fall on his head?

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/09/2022 13:50

It could indeed, or a rogue shampoo bottle. At least Leroy knows he can wake you for company.

Poor Paws, waylaid for social media.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/09/2022 14:12

It's the things that Leroy can see that you cannot that are at issue ...

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/09/2022 14:12

Frankly, you are brave going into the bathroom at all.

TheLongRider · 23/09/2022 15:04

I'm going to be in West London tonight and Sunday night. I'll be gallivanting around the south in between on my bicycle doing this route. ridewithgps.com/routes/41002982

I have abandoned DD and the foster kittens to my husband's care. He'll need a holiday when I get back.

The foster kittens have gone from gunky eyed, spitty, wheezy little semi-ferals to clean, purry, rub-my-tummy little dotes!

TheLongRider · 23/09/2022 15:07

Kitteny goodness.

He had some ham, got sniffed by Ollie who pulled a face and then vanished again
It's like having a ghost cat

PeloFondo · 23/09/2022 15:48

My dad just turned up randomly. Ollie is ignoring me and gazing lovingly at my dad
He is not a cat person but since he's met Ollie... apparently he stroked an "orange" cat the other day that tried to swipe him Grin

There's a good reason why I don't open the boiler cupboard door...

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 23/09/2022 17:57

@TheLongRider
Enjoy the ride! You'll be close enough to me to drop a kitten off if you wish 😁.

TheLongRider · 23/09/2022 19:13

Maybe I should bring TC back to Dublin with me instead.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 23/09/2022 19:15

Perhaps we could arrange one of those Cold War type exchanges?

Supersimkin2 · 23/09/2022 19:17

pix of happiness.

Havelock’s broken in four times. No tuna or cat food left.

@TheLongRider pm me if you need a bed/cuppa/cat to cuddle.

Supersimkin2 · 23/09/2022 19:23

Bridge of Spies - they’ll try and fob you off with one of NDN’s dogs, @TheLongRider - you’ll have to stand firm
under the spotlights in your trench coat till the guards bring out TC.

Or you might get TC quite quickly. Diplomacy may waive the requirement to exchange a kitten.

TheLongRider · 23/09/2022 19:32

I have survived the cycle from Euston to Ruislip. For a city with excellent public transport the sheer number of on street car park spaces is crazy. Cycling through a city is great, you really get a feel for the place. I could practically smell the money around Regent's Park and Primrose Hill and then the relative scruffiness around Wembley.

Thanks for the offer Super, it would be be fantastic to meet some Litter Tray notables and their human slaves. Unfortunately this is a flying visit, I won't be staying the The Great Wen for longer than necessary.

Supersimkin2 · 23/09/2022 20:37

You do you love - 22 minutes from Euston here in case of need. Come back when you have more time. Or the London to Brighton bike ride starts outside the door, now I recall - at sodding 6am.

Grumpy’s getting TC’s pet passport sorted at the post office tomorrow, I expect.

Admiration for the kitten rehabilitation and cycling skills, TheLongRider.

I love the way Ollie is transforming your dad into a cat lover, PeloFondo.

I need to get a video next time. Ollie just trails after him shouting MOW randomly whilst lovingly blinking at him and begging for fuss
Totally ignoring me
My dad "it's like a teeny tiny dog" Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/09/2022 12:00

I’ve cracked and bought puddy a molly mouse. White leopard print cos I’m classy like that. Assuming she’ll buck the trend and hate it.

She jumped up on the worktop the other night and had a good mooch then jumped from the worktop to the kitchen table about 3ft away, or one metre if your young, like a spring chicken.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 24/09/2022 12:44

11am(ish) is generally Leroy's walk time. I had to go out without him (Iceland don't allow cats).

Why yes, yes I did creep round the house so I didn't wake him and we could sneak out. Why yes, yes DH also crept around.

Pair of bloody mugs 🤦🏼‍♀️
