We were out of space so I thought I'd do the honours

😀 The Glare is down pat.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 19/09/2022 13:21

Spartacus - those photos are magnificent 😁

YesItsMeIDontCare · 19/09/2022 13:24

Now imagine this one with pointier ears and fairly classic tux colouring... that was old Paddy!

Can't offer a Pallas cat I'm afraid, but for sheer expressive ability I offer you TC.

That's not a cat, that's an exhibit from the Natural History Museum.

PollyCreo · 19/09/2022 20:17

Compare and contrast? 🙀

Supersimkin2 · 19/09/2022 21:12

TC really took Frozen to heart, bless him. Let it go! Sight for sore eyes Grumpy 😃

TheLongRider · 19/09/2022 21:45

My foster boys are less snuffly and less gunky eyed. The brown fluffy boy was playing with DH this morning. His tuxedo brother is still very wary.

Hobbes is still having vapours about the kittens very existence in his house. The other cats are not particularly bothered.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/09/2022 07:00

Poor Hobbes. He is a much put upon cat. Thoughts and prayers.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/09/2022 20:31

Well I've got my energy bill down more than £100 a month 😁

Leroy is a good source of heat tbf.

Supersimkin2 · 20/09/2022 23:40

I’ve saved money with home made podiatry. Fluffy, if you nudge your thigh in error with a fresh scalpel number 20, and the ensuing slice is clean and has stopped bleeding for now but the skin is quite wide apart on both sides - only half an inch - it’s not an ER job is it? How do I stick the two sides together?

Steri strips and keep it clean and dry
I'm not asking about the scalpel

PeloFondo · 20/09/2022 23:43

These kind of things. Boots will have them as well because Amazon prime isn't appreciating the need for them urgently apparently

LostCats · 21/09/2022 07:55

Super, I do hope your leg is ok?

I however am most intrigued by the specificity of the scalpel 😁

YesItsMeIDontCare · 21/09/2022 09:59

Super!!!!! 😱

(Packs own scalpels carefully away)

Supersimkin2 · 21/09/2022 12:32

Fluffy 😁

Thanks all, still a biped. Steri strips on way.

if there’s ever a time to drop a scalpel onto yourself, straight after the bath with it sterile out of the packet is the smart choice.

I might get a heated throw to save money instead.😬

Papergirl1968 · 21/09/2022 12:37

Hope you're ok, Lana, and that you have a furry nurse or two tending to you, fetching snacks etc.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/09/2022 14:36

Bloody hell a 20? We only use 11,15,10. Crikey.

My colleague managed to drop a 15 into her leg, catch a arteriole branch off the femoral artery and bleed everywhere rapidly. The patient who was escorted out over the massive pool of blood while a Gp and Sister dashed in with a huge pile of kaltostat complained he had to come back to have treatment completed.

I feel this vignette sums up modern healthcare and why you should steer family away from healthcare degrees.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 21/09/2022 15:16

OK, I might be being a bit thick here (highly likely) but I thought there was a crafting accident here.

A surgical scalpel in a bath??

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/09/2022 15:28

Somewhere there will be a google search for “woman in bath with scalpel blade”

PeloFondo · 21/09/2022 15:35

I dermaplane my face with a scalpel
In unrelated news, Ollie has the most grass seeds I've ever seen on him. I must have picked 70 off so far and he's blinking happily at me

PollyCreo · 21/09/2022 16:41

Currently on holiday in Greece and I appear to have a fan club...

Defiantlynot41 · 21/09/2022 17:24

@PollyCreo I was in Kefalonia last week with a similar following! Managed to get home without any in my pockets, although it was very tough and spent lots on cat food!

PollyCreo · 21/09/2022 17:37

@Defiantlynot41 we're obviously pussy magnets 😲 The b&w cats are very timid, I did try to coax them but didn't work even when I spoke to them in Greek 😅

Supersimkin2 · 22/09/2022 22:21

Lovely Greek kitties, most cosmopolitan.

I was taking the hard skin off my Hobbit feet, if everyone must know. Industrial blades most effective.

You only go to ER in London when you’ve been shot, so like every sensible person I rely on Fluffy for medical advice.

Is your colleague still alive Fluffy? Perish the thought a pedicure was delayed. Honestly.
