Proof that all three used to comfortably fit in 💕

Aww, so cute, Swampy.

nettie434 · 20/05/2020 00:10

Could it be Ollie’s long lost daughter?

I am going to use this idea to pitch a new reality tv series Pet Surprise Surprise. Imagine a domineering tom being confronted by lots of different kittens....

I love the now and then pics swampytigga. They are the mmost gorgeous trio.

ClientQ · 20/05/2020 00:32

Paws has been in twice today. Suspect something to do with the rain. Ollie has snored all day, waking up only to swat at poor paws tail

I woke up this morning to find Socks had lovingly placed a cat toy in my shoe by the side of my bed.
It’s a fairly regular occurrence - a toy left in my shoe or one of the more manky ones deposited on the bed by me.
Sometimes she disappears off downstairs in the night and reappears with one. She must wake up and think “hmm, I’ll go and find the grottiest toy I can just in case momma wants to wake up and play.” Hmm

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/05/2020 09:56

She loves you!

Papergirl1968 · 20/05/2020 10:40

Yep, same toy was left on the bed today 😂😻

swampytiggaa · 20/05/2020 11:19

Oh @Papergirl1968 that’s just made me feel weepy! How lovely 💕

Papergirl1968 · 20/05/2020 11:35

She is very sweet. I never thought I could love another cat the way I do Matt but she crept her way into my heart in her own little gentle way.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 20/05/2020 12:09

Leroy does that too Papergirl! Doesn't want to play, just chirrups at me until I wake up and acknowledge Mousie. It might be at 3am, but you just can't be cross with them when they're being so adorable 🥰.

Supersimkin2 · 20/05/2020 14:13

Darling Socks loves you to bits. :)

That has made me a bit wobbly too. I never thought I could love another cat after Mr C but as Capn V says, the second you clap eyes, you realise Dat Cat Need Love. She must be so happy with you.

Papergirl1968 · 20/05/2020 15:06

Cats are just the best, aren’t they? I struggle with my mental health at times but there’s not a day goes by when they don’t make me laugh or cheer me up with a cuddle when I need it most.

ClientQ · 20/05/2020 15:45

25c here. Ollie is damp and sweaty in his fur bed ConfusedConfused
Window is open but he is refusing to go out as "too comfy"

Goodness knows where Boycat is sleeping right now, I'm guessing my bed. Girlcat is curled up as tightly as she can manage on top of the cat tree, except her tail which is dangling down like a bell cord. Must. Resist. Pulling. Bell. Cord.

ClientQ · 20/05/2020 22:00

He's been hunting. A twig HmmGrin

Grin Ma Twig.

By the way, has Ma Bush died or simply fallen out of fashion? I hope the neighbours haven't had the cheek to use it or trim it.

Capn's coping with the heat by demanding Pouch every 5 min so he can eat the jelly.

ClientQ · 20/05/2020 22:24

Er ma bush is dead Blush
His new fave is just lounging openly in the neighbours garden being admired with the small child shouting "CAT! KITTY!" every few minutes
Occasionally he rolls over when someone walks past and asks if he's alive

I do wish Ollie would write his autobiography - I now wonder about life in the greenhouse of the life and death of 'ma bush'

ClientQ · 20/05/2020 23:22

He needs to write it, I want to know where he was before the greenhouse!

RIP Ma Bush (pause, solemn silence, try not to tweak hat, 2 min).

I reckon he only liked it because it was poorly. Cats are funny like that.

It's good to see him bringing up the younger generation so well - has she discovered the gift of food yet?

Allergictoironing · 21/05/2020 09:07

Lana have you tried him on cat soup yet in this weather? Or would that be just yet another burden to add onto your shoulders Grin.

My great and mighty hunters have a new seasonal prey. I get loads of tiny moths this time of year and the kitties are going crazy hunting them down. Don't know if Boycat has caught any yet, but Girlcat definitely has and seems to enjoy the taste. Sadly not enough on a tiny moth to save on the cat food bills!

Supersimkin2 · 21/05/2020 09:57

Brilliant Allergic, I'll get some today.

Just been refused belly access for not providing the entire packet of Dreamies as a treat. The little animal has the negotiating skills of Mr Selfridge himself.

Papergirl1968 · 21/05/2020 10:15

My two love cat soup as an occasional change from cat food.
Some are a bit more substantial and less watery than others so try a couple of different ones to see which his highness prefers Smile

ClientQ · 21/05/2020 10:39

Ollie is not impressed with this working from home business and is standing behind me wailing

I was doing a Zoom meeting with some Really Important People as guests and the most Really Important Person was all businesslike until ambushed by a kitten. She went bright red and uttered "OK, so I panic bought a kitten!!!'.
