Papergirl & Lana I found the Sheba ones to be very liquid, and definitely preferred by mine over the thicker Felix.

Boycat was exceptionally brave earlier. Front window was open (with Flat Cat of course) and a rarely seen tabby came to the front garden. He GROWLED, rushed towards the window all stiff, with bushy tail & even seemed to have fluffed up his neck fur. Said "Maah" loudly (for him) at the stranger and it hurried away. Precious little boy protecting his home, his mama and his sister!

What kind of kitten was it?.

From the quick glance we got, it was definitely a moggy :).

Not as hot as my part of Kent - regularly used to be recorded hottest place in the UK until they removed it from the list. Typically 2 degrees above central London in the summer. About 29c at present...

Boycat is no longer guarding the home, I think he's too hot. Girlcat is draped as long as she can stretch out on the back of the sofa - about 20 inches nose to base of her tail (remember she's the little one)

I came up to bed just over half an hour ago and put the fan on, Leroy jumped on the bed and yelled at me to turn it off. So he came and lay on me 🙄. Turn the fan off AND have 6kg+ of furry blanket on you. Thanks.

@Papergirl1968 yeah he's always used the window, I just wasn't happy with him keep jumping up as he goes out about 1001 times a day

I love being able to leave the back door open for the cats to wander in and out. Always shut it when I go upstairs though in case they bring a bird or mouse or something in.

So...the people who have found Bertie have been moving the trap closer to his food bowl, and he's still been coming. Last night it was behind the bowl. I'm now off work until the 1st of June, so I've suggested actually setting the trap tonight. I'm so nervous! They haven't replied yet.
