Happy Homing, The Litter Tray's only certified panther.

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/06/2020 10:49

Encounter with big kitties yesterday Grin. Little bit too close encounter with the tiger. Shame Mumsnet doesn't allow videos which show him coming right up to the car and looking in the window!!

Happy forever home day Leroy!

Yes - your post at Mon 15-Jun-20 19:29:27 was of an actual panther wasn't it? Just checking ...

Allergictoironing · 24/06/2020 10:56

EXCUSE me? Surely this is a panther lying in a tree...
YetAnotherSpartacus · 24/06/2020 11:00

Yep. Definite panther there! That second picture is especially telling.

I wonder if Ollie imagines himself as a panther?

Allergictoironing · 24/06/2020 11:34

I think it's the length of his tail that's the give-away there. He also has a long squarish nose, another panther trait.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 24/06/2020 13:02

@YetAnotherSpartacus - yes it is 😁

It's one that shows the markings quite well though. All panthers are a genetic mutation of one of the big cats, which one it is depends largely on where you are.

Charlie will be pleased you went to see the tigers Just. He'd argue that they would cause a lot more disruption in your house than a few curtains.
Justonedayatatime11 · 24/06/2020 14:49

nettie434 his highness is being the picture of innocence today, just nicely watching the pigeons.... Hmm

Nice Mynwood Jacket there Just. Leroy's needs a bloody good wash because he keeps having dust baths.

nettie434 · 24/06/2020 15:29

Yup, Charlie is looking as if a dreamie wouldn't melt in his mouth!

Justonedayatatime11 · 24/06/2020 16:18

YesItsMeIDontCare Mynwood jackets are great. He's had this one about 6 months but he's grown considerably in that time Hmm may be time for a new one!

Supersimkin2 · 24/06/2020 21:12

I give in Allergic - Boycat is surely a feline leader of a Himalayan tribe.

I've just brushed Capn - had to change clothes entirely and hoover flat. Very furry cat. Arse still being sat on firmly.

Charlie is my darling... how dear is his little face.

QueenCT · 24/06/2020 21:50

Ollie is less panther and more sloth. In other news it's 4 years today since he returned home from his "I went missing and scared mama" adventure

nettie434 · 24/06/2020 22:21

So what happened when Ollie went on his "I went missing and scared mama adventure"? Was that before or after his life in the greenhouse, QueenCT?

Maybe it's just as well he has made himself a track - it might help him from getting lost!!!

QueenCT · 24/06/2020 22:23

@nettie434 it was after. He lived in the greenhouse, then with cats protection then me Grin

Omg, that is such an emotional roller coaster of a read, QueenCT. I read it knowing that it had a happy ending but it was still so worrying. Thank goodness you found your way home, Ollie!

Papergirl1968 · 25/06/2020 10:58

I think those of us who were around then lived each of those eight days with you! The relief when Ollie turned up...
Dear Cosie. I wonder how she is doing.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 25/06/2020 11:19

I feel quite bad actually - there was me posting all excitedly about getting Leroy (thanks to the wonderful Cosie) while Queen's heart was breaking 😔

QueenCT · 25/06/2020 11:21

Ollie cares not one bit Grin

Leroy's enjoying a nice bit of breeze in the shade. I suggested the lawn in the back garden might be cooler, but he's a nosey sod so here we are.

My indoor cats keep trying to head outside so I’ve bought them collars in case they get out so people know they belong.

Little buggers are running round trying to hide from the bells 😂😂

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/06/2020 12:15

I also wonder how Cosie is doing ...

Supersimkin2 · 25/06/2020 12:28

So do I, would love to hear. I got the fear for her really badly when Covid moved up north, but I refused to post a begging plea on grounds it would have been annoying & cowardly.
