Yep. Definite panther there! That second picture is especially telling.

I wonder if Ollie imagines himself as a panther?

I think it's the length of his tail that's the give-away there. He also has a long squarish nose, another panther trait.

It's one that shows the markings quite well though. All panthers are a genetic mutation of one of the big cats, which one it is depends largely on where you are.

Charlie will be pleased you went to see the tigers Just. He'd argue that they would cause a lot more disruption in your house than a few curtains.

Ollie is less panther and more sloth. In other news it's 4 years today since he returned home from his "I went missing and scared mama" adventure

Omg, that is such an emotional roller coaster of a read, QueenCT. I read it knowing that it had a happy ending but it was still so worrying. Thank goodness you found your way home, Ollie!

I feel quite bad actually - there was me posting all excitedly about getting Leroy (thanks to the wonderful Cosie) while Queen's heart was breaking 😔

Leroy's enjoying a nice bit of breeze in the shade. I suggested the lawn in the back garden might be cooler, but he's a nosey sod so here we are.

My indoor cats keep trying to head outside so I’ve bought them collars in case they get out so people know they belong.

Little buggers are running round trying to hide from the bells 😂😂

I also wonder how Cosie is doing ...

So do I, would love to hear. I got the fear for her really badly when Covid moved up north, but I refused to post a begging plea on grounds it would have been annoying & cowardly.
