Very, I'd say. Wink

LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 11:13

Dreamies for breakfast again. Now sleeping, smiling. I will tackle this departure from the strict regime when his thyroid is a bit more stable.

Everything in the kitchen has blown up - no coffee this morning. National emergency, obviously. Tripped the coffee machine, reasoning that an electric shock was prob the same as a double espresso.

Now enjoying a lovely decaf, slightly singed. :)

Ollivander84 · 04/10/2018 12:45

Hairball vomit here and a guilty look at his belly hair...
vet tomorrow for his steroid jab. And flea treatment. And wormer
Pray for me Grin

Good Luck Grin

You can get worm and flea in Tesco for about 12 quid the pair if that's cheaper.

Managed to sneak throw and duvet through the wash. Got angry look, Mr C plonked bum on my best cashmere jersey.

F have you got your salmon yet?

Ollivander84 · 04/10/2018 19:43

Sadly he's allergic to 99% of flea stuff Hmm so he has bravecto and depending how brave the vet is, it might be a spot on wormer Grin
I knew he was overgrooming because I asked him and he does this stupid paw on belly and "me?!" face

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 20:08

Ollie is, in his way, a rare intelligence.

Mr C's live on stage for Vet Act 30-million next week. With you in spirit. Er, didn't the wormer for O cause a little bit of upset last time?
Is the car back in service?

Ollivander84 · 04/10/2018 20:27

Yes to upset... we may go for a spot on Wink

LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 21:25

Mr C says smart move, why ask for trouble?

After The Clawing incident earlier this week I am tempted to agree.

LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 21:25

what do you think C

cozietoesie · 04/10/2018 22:27

Anything for an easy life - for the cats of course! Grin

LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 23:26

Talking of making life difficult, I note we have no recent portrait of PB. The calendar, with its ruthless deadline, approaches Grin

If worst comes to worst, a painting done by Dbro PB in My Dream will be acceptable. Grin

Ollivander84 · 05/10/2018 17:29

Nearly V.E.T time
Ollie is angrily shouting because I won't feed him (he has dry food down) as I'm not risking a chuck up over the vet incident

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 05/10/2018 18:10

I had to peel each claw off the carpet and then he threw himself on his side
He's just thrown up all over himself and the car...

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 05/10/2018 18:38

Live vet update
Now 3.6kg from 3.4kg
Injection done
Worker tablet done after a dramatic side flop
Flea treatment done
Me, the cat and the carrier scrubbed

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 05/10/2018 20:30

Heroic action by you.

Yay! Weight gain!! And after he'd been sick everywhere....good show.

LanaorAna2 · 05/10/2018 22:04

I'm having a lovely evening decolonising myself of staph bacteria. Mr C is lying on me waiting for the reduced sandwich to crack open so he can have the ham bit. We are watching a very old film on terrestrial telly.

Rock and roll lifestyle, eat your heart out Grin

On the upside, I have a crisp glass of chilled pink gin - a gift from a deeply cherished friend who knows not of the pleasure they are currently endowing me with. It's delicious and a really pretty colour, which somehow makes a vast difference. Recommended.

Ollivander84 · 06/10/2018 12:48

"You are in SO much trouble mama"
Vet said he looks well and he's just a small cat and not skinny Smile

cozietoesie · 06/10/2018 13:29

Well I wouldn't like to be the one that cat was contemplating. Those eyes.............

Ollivander84 · 06/10/2018 13:39

He was fairly good for the vet. Minor disagreement over the working tablet and a indignant howl at the needle
No vomit on the way home (he never does... only on the way there Hmm)

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 06/10/2018 13:47

Of course not. He's made his point. Grin

Ollivander84 · 06/10/2018 13:50

cozie Grin
He always manages it somewhere like a sharp bend, tricky junction or on the motorway as well. And then cries the rest of the way because he's covered in it
You would think he would learn after the vet nurse bathed him....

LanaorAna2 · 06/10/2018 14:08

You can get Cat Valium for car rides. For Ollie as well :)

Is it Kitten Day?!

Me and Mr C are a little under the weather. Reduced Prawn Sandwich prob not a smart buy in a heatwave :)

Guiltypleasures001 · 06/10/2018 14:56

Olli weighs the same as BetBet, I was worried she was skinny

She also doesn't do treats eats raw chicken or Sheba in gravy, but today
Has yummed a whole tube of licke licks chicken flavour and loved it 😁
