Papergirl that made me scream with laffs. Went for you then, fully cuddled, didn't get out of bed till quarter to 4 Grin

When I went into the sitting room to sue for forgiveness last night, Mr C was sitting upright on the chaise longue, waiting to be picked up and carried to bed. I said sorry a million times in a silly voice he understands. Got a purr out of him with remarkable speed, lights out, passed out.

The heating's knackered so we clung to each other all night.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/10/2018 13:41

Dh got full on savaged this morning. He buys the cat salmon when he's naughty so the cat was probably thinking "I am so getting a tin of salmon for this" and went for it. Teeth and claws.

He has had a stern talking to by dh.

It seems the day for it.

LanaorAna2 · 03/10/2018 14:00

Grin Grin

Get some nice crusty bread in & mug DH for the salmon when he innocently enters his own home. Say you're channelling your spirit animal (Garfield).

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/10/2018 14:08

He's returned with no salmon. The cats going to be so confused.

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 14:31

Ollie has just slept today. No biting, no claws. He didn't say mama this morning though so maybe he's in a bad mood WinkGrin

Not bitey at all, get me in the competitive Good Cat Stakes :)

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 15:28

GOOD CAT REVOKED
I just had to remove a dead mouse from outside the window that he jumps in EnvyEnvy

Well done Brave Hunter of the North-ish :)

Have a cup of tea and do deep breathing to calm down from the awfulness. And chocolate. It's gone now.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/10/2018 19:42

Ollie!!!

His first (known) kill?

Maybe you need to swap him and Fred over :).

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/10/2018 19:51

I never had Ollie down as a hunter.

Papergirl1968 · 03/10/2018 20:00

I thought Ollie only caught leaves?!

cozietoesie · 03/10/2018 20:41

It was dead - and presumably still whole. Might not have been down to Ollie.

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 21:23

It was very dead (flies around it)

I hate mice. Bleugh

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 21:25

I didn't examine it. I was too busy removing it with a litter scoop while crying Blush big phobia, skin crawling
No idea how it got there

LanaorAna2 · 03/10/2018 21:41

Well done O that is truly heroic. Sympathies. Have you had a nice big gin yet. Now have another one.

Looks like Olli is only into yellow sticker mice at the mo. Just as well.

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 21:45

Well my options are
Ollie caught it (unlikely)
A NMC brought it (hmmm)
It keeled over
It was stuck to the floor Envy and not intact

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/10/2018 21:48

Ollie is far more likely to come in and yell at you for some food or entertainment. Smile

LanaorAna2 · 03/10/2018 22:00

It might just have carked. RIP Mickey.

I haven't had a mouse since Mr C came. He's very keen on the idea of finding one. When he's not resting.

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 22:03

It was that dead even Ginge would have looked disgusted at it

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/10/2018 22:08

Then I reckon a NMC brought it - several days ago!

Ollivander84 · 03/10/2018 22:16

I've seen Ollie trying to catch a spider. That was entertaining... and it was a VERY slow moving one. He sort of waved a paw at it and went back to blinking at me

LanaorAna2 · 04/10/2018 00:00

NMC is your man. Or lady. It was a 'Let me live here' gift if you ask me.

Like arriving with flowers and chocs when you go to stay with someone.

You must have been out. Luckily. Grin
