I am very much in disgrace. Girlcat rather uncharacteristically threw up last night just before bed time. About 2 hours after breakfast she threw up again, projectile vomiting going about 18 inches. 4 hours later she threw up AGAIN, projectile again just as far, and then a third time right after. Cue phone call to the V.E.T.
She gave me a bit of a runaround catching her to go in the crate, then meowed pathetically all the way there. Once we were there & she was out of the cage, all she wanted to do was press against me & bury her head in my arm - Girlcat doesn't usually do cuddles
. Head to toe check, thermometer up her bum, Antacid in her mouth and anti nausea injection. Not a squeak from her, just clinging to my hand with her paw all the way through & face in my other arm. She didn't even want to go back into her crate as it meant being separated from me (totally out of character).
Vet thinks it may be just one of those things, and to keep an eye on her for a few days & maybe keep the treats in check. She also said she appears to be a very healthy cat in general and perfect weight for her size (NOT overweight, one of my larger fears).
Poor little girl has still come down a couple of times to check on me since we've been back, I don't want to disturb her any more so haven't gone looking for her.
