Nods, yes it is

Ollivander84 · 28/09/2018 22:53

I’m “testing” the heated blanket and central heating Wink

cozietoesie · 28/09/2018 23:03

Lordy - you mean he has both? Shock

Ollivander84 · 28/09/2018 23:09

He did Grin but the blanket was only on for an hour while I warmed up in bed

Flu jab and bone marrow jab means my poor bone pain is not fun!

Cats protection messaged me today and described Ollie as “so clever. Almost human. I want him. Give him back now” Grin
Along with “I can’t find you another cat like that one. Ever”

Gotta love Ollie. A legend in his own lifetime Grin

Ollivander84 · 28/09/2018 23:29

Does anyone else’s cat have a bit that makes their back leg go like a dog? Confused
I’ve found a spot on Ollie shoulder blades/neck, if you scratch it, his back leg scratches at the same time Grin

Yep Boycat sort of does this. There's a spot on his tummy that if I get it just right he scratches his jaw. He's usually lying on his side at the time & I'm supposed to get to the belly by putting my hand between his back legs, which means he can reach the jaw with his top leg.

He surpassed himself this morning. We had our usual cuddle in bed & he decided to wait for me on the windowsill behind the curtains in my bedroom as I got up. He was in a sitting position and must have dozed off, because he FELL OFF THE WINDOWSILL. Only my Boycat Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 29/09/2018 09:07

@RonniePasas haha, that isn't my cat either, mine is currently having a wash on my bed!

LanaorAna2 · 29/09/2018 10:16

O hope your poor rattled bones are feeling a bit better today. My mate had a dysentery jab for a hol, no problem, no side effects said the nurse - she walked out fine, 5 min later was sprinting the length of Hyde Park 'to a cafe' faster than Usain Bolt Grin Two days off work, they can be quite hardcore.

Mr C insists that my arm is his pillow every night now. It's terribly loving - chin is rested on the wrist, eyelids droop, little head droops bit by bit, rumbly purring until he is flat out with my arms around him.

He's completely dead to the world - me lying pinned down, staring at the ceiling, wanting to wee, of course Grin

Might it be Kitten Day?

Ollivander84 · 29/09/2018 10:24

No kittens sadly as I’m at work!

Ne'er mind! Let's hope someone else posts some pix eh [hint].

Did he wash himself and look like he meant to do that all along?

Ollivander84 · 29/09/2018 11:49

Video of Ollie being tickled Grin

I think I saw an expression there that was somewhere between a sleepy glare and an eyeroll :).

Ollivander84 · 29/09/2018 11:59

Probably at me blinding him with the flash and laughing at him BlushGrin

Allergictoironing · 29/09/2018 12:58

Spartacus no, he dived under the bed which is very close to the window. I'm guessing it was because he dozed off - the curtains were still closed so I could just see his silhouette in a sitting position, glanced away then turned back in time to see him fall. It definitely wasn't a jump though, and there was quite a squawk as he hit the deck poor stupid cat.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/09/2018 13:01

Poor love. Not even enough dignity left to say he meant that all along :( Give him a special cuddle from me when you can.

As for Ollie - I rather suspect that it was also because you were violating his tickle spot and making fun of him - the little love.

Allergictoironing · 29/09/2018 13:11

Too slow thinking to pretend he meant it you mean!

This is Boycat, also referred to by family as the special needs kitty due to his lack of brains & agility, slowness of thought, inability to focus on anything more than a few secs, the ability to forget where his treat is (in front of his nose) if he glances away for a sec, fear of anything different etc etc etc

Ollivander84 · 30/09/2018 11:57

I am a bad bad owner and forgot to fill ollies water bowl Blush he had a little bit left
He woke me at 5am shouting so much I got up and he was practically pointing at his water bowl when I got up Blush

LanaorAna2 · 30/09/2018 12:33

Did he have a drink when you staggered back to bed? Thought not Grin

I too have The Face of Indescribable Suffering - two types of Sheba, dry food, drink selection offered for breakfast. Rejected. One baleful green eye fixed on the Dreamies.

Tongue marks in the butter, however.

Ollivander84 · 30/09/2018 15:20

Of course not. He didn't want one Hmm

cozietoesie · 30/09/2018 17:13

Indeed. Keeping you up to scratch is all. Grin
