Four headless baby rodent corpses have been neatly piled outside my back door. Fluffycat is covered in coal dust. The two things may not be unconnected.

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 02:08

Such restraint. (Average size of a rodent litter is more than 4.) Smile

Allergictoironing · 22/04/2018 09:50

4 was probably LongRider's share after Fluffycat had eaten hers Grin.

Still getting strange yowling outside from what I think is a new cat to the area, the ones my pair made friends with through the patio door netting the other evening. It's sort of a mix between a challenge yowl and a mating yell; cat seemed very sociable with mine the other day so I'm worried it may be an un neutered female - how long do they go through the on heat yowling phase each time?

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 13:28

Of course, Allergic. Do forgive me. Grin

Ollivander84 · 22/04/2018 13:48

O is outside then runs inside and stuffs his face, then outside... repeat. He's decided he can climb in the living room window. Which is EXACTLY the same height as the bedroom window HmmConfused but "no momma, too high"

Yeeow Banana has arrived. In with the other shopping in a seperate sealed grey heavy duty bag. I turned by back for a parsec and both Weezolcat and grey bag had gone. There was a brief tussle in which I managed to get banana out of the bag and cut the plastic tag off, haven't seen either of them since.

Also only told my dad about said banana 30 minutes before the delivery time so I win, for now.

If anyone sees a chap in his 70's wandering around a pet shop muttering 'Yeeeow Apples', that'll be my dad.

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 15:31

Goodness.

What is 'Yellow Banana'? Smile

Ollivander84 · 22/04/2018 15:33

It's an extra strong catnip toy shaped like a yellow banana. Not my cat whisky has stolen the one I got for Ollie

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 15:34

Where do you get them, Ollivander? Smile

Ollivander84 · 22/04/2018 15:41

Amazon have them

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 15:45

Ahhh.

(I had a quick look on Amazon. Yellow Bananas are a cult! )

Ollivander84 · 22/04/2018 15:51

Will PB be getting a taste of catnip?

OP posts:
Weezol · 22/04/2018 15:51

There are also other Yeowww fruit available. Thank gawd my dad won't buy anything smaller than a combi-boiler from the 'bloody internet'.

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 16:08

I'll get him one. Smile

It shall have to wait until tomorrow, though. You can't rely on Amazon to deliver on the day they say they shall - they're usually early - so I have to time things right.

LanaorAna2 · 22/04/2018 16:38

Top Banana here wants one too. Grin

Amazon are so bad here I had to cancel the cat litter order, which was annoying as it was cheaper. In the unlikely event a random delivery rolled up it went way elsewhere and I had to stagger through the city streets with 20 litre sacks of catsan spraying on all sides. Felt like a council gritter machine.

The delivery driver said he 'couldn't find Clapham Common'. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 22/04/2018 16:40

C the Yeoows apple is....RED.

LanaorAna2 · 22/04/2018 16:41

sorry I can't spell at all today. But PB knows what I mean...

Weezol · 22/04/2018 16:45

I live in The North and rarely venture south of Sheffield. Even I know where Clapham Common is.

LanaorAna2 · 22/04/2018 17:24

Why Thank you Weezol! Flat is in it, our garden is the patch on the end.The building is a local landmark, remarkable for its size and ugliness. It looks like every junkie in the UK OD-ed in it. This is almost entirely correct.

The posh flats up the road, identical but maintained, is where they make Poirot, it's stayed a Deco masterpiece. In our collapsing block, all the miniature pieds-a-terre meant for lone businessmen to stay the night in during the week in the 1930s are now housing six people apiece. Me and Mr C are the only people I know now who boast a chair and sofas that aren't also beds.

Mr C would not accept anything else, of course.

Papergirl1968 · 22/04/2018 17:55

Ohh, I like the pollock catnip toy.
Matt is a fairly hopeless hunter, Cosie. He only manages a couple of birds or mice per year, thank goodness. I don’t know how some of you manage having to keep picking up dead things! Or even worse chasing out live things!

cozietoesie · 22/04/2018 19:13

If you want him to lose weight then that's GOOD. Smile (Lots of calorie-using stalks and no success.)

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/04/2018 22:30

The endless catalogue of death and destruction is continuing here. Squeaking indicates mouse, but can't summon the energy to check.
On another subject, got reduced shoulder of lamb for £3 yesterday.

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/04/2018 22:33

It's the single mindedness that wears me down. He'll stay out for as long as it takes.
When he was farming them behind the washing machine he waited for up to 10 hours at a time Sad

Guiltypleasures001 · 22/04/2018 22:37

I broke the cat yesterday with a banana

Got it via Amazon prime

Cat aka betbet aka killer was off her tits for over half an hour, she loves it
Apologies for unhoovered carpet 😳

Guiltypleasures001 · 22/04/2018 22:39

Ahh won't post pics
