CT is at nearly 22 degrees. PB isn't eating so much. (Hopefully, some self-regulation creeping in.)

LanaorAna2 · 31/05/2018 09:38

Yes, and now he's holding off his Gourmet for more. He knows M&S do them in packs of 4.

Thing is, if you wait till yellow sticker, roast chicken and its ilk are a tenth of the price of Country Hunter and co. and make a suitable treat.

Nurse Lee has come to take him for the blood tests. Poor little cat. I've got to tackle the vet about NB, I think we're just going to nick him and vet him. Battersea Dogs' Home were quite cooperative and brilliant apparently, where he has been before, but they say if the 'owner' claims him they have to give him back. That's what happened last time acc the caretaker, hence alternative arrangements of the private variety. I might ask Nurse Lee how to evade the identity system in a manner, er, appropriate to NB's needs. Grin

PB is definitely self-regulating. How is the volume? Still turned up to 11?

O slept on my bed all night again. He wanted to hold my hand with his paw 🙄🙄🙄🙄

:)

cozietoesie · 31/05/2018 18:45

I only have to pick up the Yum e Yums packet and PB is there. What hearing!

TheLongRider · 31/05/2018 18:55

Resting after a hard morning at the vet. Weeping eye sorted, hillbilly teeth inspected and a watching brief on the fur pulling!

He purred throughout and anytime he wasn't inspected he curled into a ball in my arms and stuffed his nose into the crook of my arm.

Note to self, don't wear black to a vet visit.

Little PB is learning. I always thought Mr C was deaf until I bought dreamies.

Mr C back from vet. No damage to premises or staff this time. Nurse Lee looked a bit fraught but he said no to a diet coke I offered to get him so I think he was all right. Mr C has lost a tiny bit of weight!

I am off to buy dairylea triangles for his pills because apparently soft cheese sticks to the roof of the mouth ie the pills are harder to spit out 15x in a row.

Nurse Lee said I had a nice dress on :)

cozietoesie · 31/05/2018 19:55

I thought that you approved of Nurse Lee because he got on with Mr C? Grin

LanaorAna2 · 31/05/2018 20:41

I do. He is a lovely man; his dogged loyalty to Mr C is the sign of a true hero.

A hero like, say, Harrison Ford who is also tough yet secretly sensitive and needs the love of a good woman Grin

cozietoesie · 31/05/2018 20:48

Ahhhhhh! Wink

Ollivander84 · 31/05/2018 23:33

O is supervising my weekly injection. He does this every time ❤️

Sweetness. Was that round bald patch ringworm? Cats get it as well as humans.

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 00:02

I recon that he's been defending his patch - and Mummy. Grin

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 00:02

reckon

Ollivander84 · 01/06/2018 00:24

No, vet basically shrugged and said no idea! Probably caught it on something in the bush Grin
He's being very sweet at the minute, keeps sleeping on the bed with me which is unusual. Zooplus order has been shipped. Kittens will be well fed if he rejects it...

I'm being trained nicely. If I'm up and doing, I have to clean tray. 'tis sad that he won't accept Tray 2 -
which was meant to give him more latitude.

Allergictoironing · 01/06/2018 08:43

Mine have 2 trays, always have since day 1. They have never, ever used tray 2. It's in a tucked away place near to where they used to hide when they first came, identical tray with identical litter. They definitely know it's there, they just don't want to use it & prefer sharing the other one.

LanaorAna2 · 01/06/2018 09:55

Well done C. I get my instructions first thing - when I stagger out of bed, and move at speed towards loo (bladder laffs, menopause) being tripped over by a twirling shrieking tabby, I am not even allowed to sit on the loo in peace without having the catsan pointed at.

I do it after breakfast, there are limits.

I think Tray 2's difficult politically. Is there a place that wouldn't be too badly affected by spraying if you tried Tray 2.0? Like next to Tray 1? Otherwise you'll be up and down 24/7 every time he needs the loo. You could always get a plastic sheet/cut up bin bag for underneath just in case PB takes one look and 'lets himself down'.

I cut the top off a new packet of Yum e yums that just arrived. And looking up? Who was waiting on the bed Top?

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/06/2018 21:20

The kraken has awoken here. Unfortunately krakens have mean mommies who keep them in at night.

LanaorAna2 · 01/06/2018 21:23

waiting on The Bed!!!!!!! More Progress.

F what can you do. Little cuddle to pass the time before he drops off again?

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 21:29

Well it's progress of sorts - driven by Yum e Yums, sadly.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/06/2018 21:44

It’s better than hiding from you Cozie, at least your not public enemy no 1 now.

I’ve chucked a catnip mouse at him, he’s not bothered though, next doors cats are in the road and he’s outraged.

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 22:05

Well. They're flaunting their mere existence. That's quite enough for ASBO. Grin
