And projectile vomit, poor lad?

Allergictoironing · 29/05/2018 14:43

I think mine are both still hiding under the bed - storm has only just subsided after about 3 hours. Thunder! Lightning! Rain! In biblical proportions. They aren't usually that bad about storms, but this one was pretty awesome.

Ollivander84 · 29/05/2018 14:46

Yet - hopefully not. He seems to now resort to either fainting lady act or pretending to be a black hole. Ever tried unfolding a cat out of a ball? Grin even the vet laughed

It's all go in London, streets running with fast water, big sky rumbles. Bliss of the weather breaking. Mr C doesn't like thunder. On me now.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/05/2018 15:29

Ever tried unfolding a cat out of a ball

The new Rubrick's cube?

Ollivander84 · 29/05/2018 16:00

Yet - every limb she unfolded sprang back into a very angry ball

I sympathize, I've had to pour a lump of a cat out of a cat box onto a vet's table. Usually he just sits there and sheds nervously.

Ollivander84 · 29/05/2018 17:08

Grin at pouring the cat out. Last time he opened his eyes and went "oh. No. No like" and just slammed himself in a ball, paw and tail over his eyes. I thought the vet was going to cry she was laughing so much
He's in his bush at the minute Hmm

Vet done! He's had flea treatment and his steroids and she has suggested kitten food for a bit of weight gain

Not a happy camper.

A request has been made for a second banana from the Arts Centre. The first has bee disembowelled.

cozietoesie · 29/05/2018 22:06

Wow! Grin

cozietoesie · 29/05/2018 22:10

Even the cozietowers banana has been 'moved around'. (This is a high accolade in the light of 'Mousie -obsession' ) Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/05/2018 22:11

Mad and disappointed, with a side of betrayed an humiliated.

Ollivander84 · 29/05/2018 22:22

He doesn't take long to forgive Wink

I'm ordering the heart too - for Tiddles' companion.

The idea he might 'share' the banana with his lady friend was tenderly mooted by the sweet spirits of the arts commissioners and met with a withering look by me and the centre's director.

cozietoesie · 29/05/2018 23:40

Well quite. Grin

cozietoesie · 30/05/2018 04:19

PB is biffing Mousie and talking about it. Smile

LanaorAna2 · 30/05/2018 10:31

It's half past 4 in the morning!!!!! Bad luck C.You must be shattered. We've all been there Grin

There is a time and a place to witty Noel-Coward-style repartee Grin

It is desperately sweet when they do what Olli calls 'cat fings' in the night, which belongs to them more than the day somehow. Then, triggered by affection, update you with a running commentary. While you lie there, green, gazing at the relentless ceiling, praying for mercy Grin

Ollivander84 · 30/05/2018 10:36

O slept all night smug face and then woke up when I put the kettle on and shouted mama at me. Very sweet Grin

Boycat did his usual jumping on the bed from the windowsill when he heard me stirring - looong cuddles with head rubs & tummy tickles. Had my shower & next thing I know he's next to me on the bed again rubbing his head against me & purring, asking for more cuddles. He was there again for AGES. Which is pretty impressive, when you bear in mind I hadn't gone downstairs to feed them yet!

However they are both in sulk mode now, because I dared to dry my hair when they were asleep in the wardrobes & woke them up Blush.

Ollivander84 · 30/05/2018 19:27

Kitten food ordered from zooplus. As well as a bag of his crack wild freedom for treats
I can't really leave it down as dry food because he inhales the lot within seconds and then howls at the cupboard Hmm

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 30/05/2018 23:35

Mr C's had three large chicken drumsticks.

I might try Wild Freedom. Got shot of the insanely expensive Waitrose one (can't remember its name, called Instant Bankruptcy for Humans or similar) on DParents' cats. They love it.

cozietoesie · 31/05/2018 01:09

three??
