I think PB has learned to be .....self-contained. He went from the rough and tumble of a litter to a place where he had to sleep by himself and was picked on by older cats (until he decided to fight, like a good little Siamese.) Then he's put in a box and taken to a new strange place with The Creature. (Who tries to take him to the vet kill him after only a month.)

He's never learned that for a (bonded) Siamese, it's him and his Creature - against the world if necessary. He just looks to himself for everything.

Poor lad.

Sorry for the double post. The app is lying to me again.

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 22:37

PB is having the best time he has ever had thanks to you C, and he knows it in his heart, his brain's just catching up, is all. He's turned a massive corner - now the fight is because he wants and needs to stay with you. When he arrived it wasn't, and that was less than a year go. He is making huge strides.

They get really worked up about furniture & similar. I got into terrible trouble, the worst in years, when I threw Mr C's box away after Xmas. He went to the hall to get into it, saw it in the rubbish, and screamed, making sure I heard and understood. I binned it anyway because i kept falling over it. I was in disgrace for a whole day. Bad call of mine.

Tiny Ginge facing the same hard battle! I bet they were gutted when you didn't show on Saturday. She is so beautiful.

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 22:41

If PB has shown himself to be anything, it's capable of change. He is yet to be bonded, but in no wise am I doubtful about his ability to do so.

He might well be self-reliant, but tonight he looked to you to sort it out. He knows he can trust you, and he knows you are on his side.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 22:48

Binge has Fred for support. (Hah! Grin) That should help her, with luck.

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 22:50

She watches constantly. Every time I stroke him she inches over then backs away. I went to get my saddle and she was sat behind me then reversed when I spotted her Grin
Mostly she trails after me at a distance and pokes her head around my stable door sometimes!

I'll be hoping for tail pix. She'll come up one day when you're least expecting it...

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 23:03

That's right. SmileFascination is the first sign.

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 23:07

I have a video of her? And a little of Fred demanding strokes!

As I said. LLUURRVVE. Smile

Remember just how long it took my pair to come round, and they are still wary of most things. Girlcat still doesn't really trust me, she runs if she thinks there's any possibility that I might pick her up & she won't lie next to me for her tummy rubs but on the back of the sofa. Boycat does love his cuddles, but will still suddenly panic & run & they have to be when he wants them or he runs.

It will be 2 years later this month Smile

LanaorAna2 · 15/05/2018 10:24

Woken up by a fat paw stealing tenderly into my hand and squeezing softly, the sweetness.

Not slashed up the bum Grin. Mr C capable of change too...

He's eaten half a roast chicken in 24 hours. Is that normal

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2018 11:41

They both like dreamies. Ginge had a stroke Grin

What a wonderful pair. Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/05/2018 14:59

they don't look much like kittens anymore! Their ratting skills must be on par with PB's too because their bellies look full!

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 15:10

Binge is looking particularly so. Grin

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 15:22

No spraying today so far. Smile

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2018 15:23

They might be full with dreamies and kitten food Blush

YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/05/2018 15:26

Well YES. I was just trying to be tactful.

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2018 15:27

Ginge had a stroke and a tail stroke and then trailed after me as usual. Fred has learnt head boops and head kisses
