Blast. I just forgot 'sticks' on the grocery order. My name would have been mud.

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 18:56

Why not offer 'Five Grapes' his weekly servings and ask him to bring some sticks round :)

O, that wasn't 23 quid a week was it. I get Mr C chickens for less than that.

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 19:00

No. If it was £23 a week I would post him to cozie Grin

All sorted. Smile

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 19:15

TBF on the days he eats 3 pouches that's nearly £3 a day...

I'm not keen on asking 'Five Grapes' to do anything without detailed instructions, Lana - and even then he can be ........wilful. Grin

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 19:35

So it turns out that O does like lick e lix. Only if you boop it on his nose so he has to lick it off. He's sat there and let me do that for a full tube ConfusedConfused

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 19:37

Nutty cat! Grin

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 19:40

He won't lick it out the tube or off a plate but I figured if he didn't like it he wouldn't still sit there while I wiped the tube on his face Hmm
He's playing the fleas game now

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 20:45

Yep. A nutcase. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:07

I've just had to obtain 'chafing cream' for international delivery to my own Five Grapes, C. He was too embarrassed to go into a pharmacy abroad. They are very naughty and silly as a group Grin

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:08

Yes O I know - thing is, I reckon a bit of fresh chicken is just as good providing they get decent cat food the rest of the time, and the rate these premium foods are going up, organic chicken is cheaper.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 21:32

Sometime late today, he's sprayed by his secondary tray. I'think' (main tray is impeccably used so far) that he regards the second tray as somehow equivalent to a second cat so is getting his retaliation in first, after his past......... Quite valiant really - he hasn't got much of an arsenal to deploy against The Creature but he's trying to use what he can muster.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 21:35

(He's just snuck into LWT3.)

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:39

He's taken against Tray 2. Not you. He is telling you there is a problem, and is confident you will fix it.

Sometimes one does wish they could speak a bit of English. :)

Why? Is Tray 2 new? Is he saying he only wants one tray or could he be panicking that a second tray means the arrival of a second cat? (I'm with you, I think this is it. He is very possessive of His Creature.)

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:45

I'm not normally one for caving in to silly nervous attacks, but in PB's case I would be tempted to sod principles and go for what works - get rid of the offending tray.

PB wants to know You are His. He's not playing spoilt, he's just a one-woman cat.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 21:47

He has indeed, it seems. I reckon that he thinks it presages a second cat - and after being beaten up in his first house.......

I have to work at remembering how very difficult this all is for him. I'm not sure I could be so brave.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 21:48

The tray has gawn............

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:50

So, basically, he's peed everywhere to tell you he is hoping to stay being the apple of your eye (way to go for effective communication :)) and now he has crept into his favourite place in the small and humble hope he will have a peaceful evening where he feels loved and safe.

And the rather optimistic hope you feel the same way after clearing up gallons of pee Grin

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 21:52

Well it wasn't 'gallons'. Enough to be a hassle. (And luckily the floors are wooden.)

LanaorAna2 · 14/05/2018 21:55

You are such a saint C, so patient. It would get me down - and sweary - too. He is coming along though isn't he, he's shown his loyalty to you today, albeit in an annoying way. And how desperate he is to stay with His Cozie.

I hope he doesn't start wazzing on anything else, but I suspect he won't.

Weezol · 14/05/2018 22:01

O I note the groom has begun to refer to the "sodding kittens" by name. They are clearly wearing down the resistance.

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 22:09

I noticed that, Weezol. Grin

cozietoesie · 14/05/2018 22:12

Goodness, I'm no saint. (And my internal language is definitely not saintly. Grin) I just have to remember that he's having a harder time than even I am - he's a valiant little blighter, really. Smile

Ollivander84 · 14/05/2018 22:17

I shall get a better idea tomorrow Wink armed with dreamies to bribe Ginge that strokes are good!
She reminds me a little of PB, she desperately wants to please and almost be fussed but it's all a bit too scary and she's too independent
