They are outrageously lovely. I do love a well-built kitten.

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 17:19

' well built'??

LanaorAna2 · 15/05/2018 17:40

Just seen NB and been allowed first contact with furry cream back. His eyes seem too closed - they are opening and closing, but very narrowly. It is very sunny, so it just might be normal, but I doubt it.

He is thin as a rake despite the relentless feeding by the caretaker. Fur is in good nick, but you can tell he is an old cat.

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 18:20

Siamese can get dodgy innards - eg kidneys. He'll probably be the result of 'line breeding' as well - he's not an old point, I think you said? Could caretaker vet him?

LanaorAna2 · 15/05/2018 18:37

I will try and vet him. Will call tomorrow.

He has a slight brown discharge from one eye.

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 19:38

He lives mostly outside if I recall? Did you ever manage to contact his 'owner'?

LanaorAna2 · 15/05/2018 21:15

Yes he does. No to useless owner. He looks better but thinner than has done, and he is very very noisy. Even the builders and their 5-storey piling machine know when they're beaten on the nuisance neighbour front Grin

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 21:23

If you can vet him, I would.......

LanaorAna2 · 15/05/2018 21:33

I will have a go - the cat carrier I lent the caretaker has been nicked so I'm starting at the beginning tomorrow am. How PB?

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 21:35

No spraying so far. Smile (He's pretty full of himself, tonight. Wink)

cozietoesie · 15/05/2018 21:36

PS - the banana has been moved. Smile

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2018 21:48

O went hunting today. He came back with a happy face covered in cobwebs Confused

The mind boggles re Oli :)

I reckon you dodged a bullet there with tray 2 :)

Well, I've just been to put the rubbish out, having scored 35 quid's worth of plants from M&S for 3.20 in a yellow sticker frenzy, and seen a suspiciously familiar cat carrier. I've left it but it's a relief to know it hasn't vanished forever.

Two massive bromeliads with flame flowers and a vast lilac, green and cream Signature bouquet, get me.

The meat feast baguette for 35p delighted my life partner, now snoring in box.

Ollivander84 · 15/05/2018 22:07

I saw his ears peeping out of next doors overgrown garden where he appeared to be sat in a bush. Mostly I just shrug now, he's one of a kind Grin

Ollivander84 · 16/05/2018 10:27

And again this morning he came back soggy and full of cobwebs Hmm

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 16/05/2018 10:44

He's saying to himself "me mighty hunter, stealthy and powerful".

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/05/2018 11:39

Did he catch anything? stupid question

Ollivander84 · 16/05/2018 11:40

Apart from a cold? No Grin

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/05/2018 11:46

I'm imagining him in a Superman cape ...

LanaorAna2 · 16/05/2018 12:08

He's not having trysts with Not My Cat (female) #564 is he?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/05/2018 12:11

Oooooh yes - showing off his hunting prowess to impress!

Ollivander84 · 16/05/2018 12:14

Definitely not! I think it's because next doors garden has gone really overgrown and has all interesting smells and hiding places and he can pretend he's exploring a dangerous jungle or something

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 16/05/2018 12:18

He's a miniature panther though isn't he, so jungles are his natural habitat Grin. Well in his mind anyway

cozietoesie · 16/05/2018 13:21

A small spray last night on his main tray. It's as if he's remembered how to do it. (Nothing today so far.) I pretended to ignore it which was NOT what he was expecting, I think.

Sometimes I feel discouraged, though.

LanaorAna2 · 16/05/2018 14:08

I bet you feel discouraged, ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////i (that was Mr C offering moral support) I know I would at times. It's two steps forward one step back, isn't it. And not getting much affection - bar his obvious and fervent desire to stay - isn't wildly cheering. PB is acting the Ungrateful Git Grin
