Sorry for disappearing, been busy enjoying the cat! And going to visit the kittens on Thursday, they’re just over nine weeks old now. Grin

Today we got our second Zooplus order and our cat tree finally arrived as well. I’ll rummage for some pics. Catio has yet to reach its full potential as there’s still only a bar stool for him to sit on and look over the fence at.

1: His favourite position
2: Weird serious face while kneading my belly
3: Cat tree investigation

Ghetto Fabulous Grin

cozietoesie · 07/05/2018 21:24

I think that he must get the prize for Most Beautiful Tail. Grin

InTheGhetto · 07/05/2018 21:26

Oh yes - the ‘wet food plus non-Dreamie snacks’ drawer.

Mostly GranataPet Delicatessen, which he finds eminently acceptable (and we’ve had to try quite a few things to get there...).

Commitment in a box.

Ollivander84 · 07/05/2018 22:00

Still on the blanket...
It's bloody expensive merino wool, he would like it

Ollivander84 · 08/05/2018 21:38

He's just back from looking out the window, I'm hearing ALL about how Paws is gallivanting outside and why can't he be a vampire cat and go play with the traffic in the dark

PB is looking in a ....considering sort of way at the ceiling. I think that I might have squirrels in the loft again.

InTheGhetto · 08/05/2018 22:18

Ghetto keeps randomly becoming scared of things. A few days ago it was Dreamies (not even joking - he even ran away when we got the packet out, so I bought some Whiskas temptations in the little tub to try them and he ran away from the biscuit itself, presumably because they look identical to Dreamies) and then the sofa, and this evening it's the new cat tree. Think he got spooked by his reflection in the dark window. He's been staying away and repeatedly glaring at it for about an hour and a half now. He had lots of daddy cuddles and kept turning to check the tree wasn't coming over to eat him roughly every 10-20 seconds.

I've also had to seal some big blue IKEA bags in the spare room, as he chews at the edge of them, leans back and continues chewing the nothing in his mouth, then swallows it. He seems to genuinely believe he's eating mouthfuls of (entirely unharmed) IKEA bag. He's thrown up watery nothingness three times today so I think he's been swallowing lots of air while doing so... absolutely crackers.

You should have a look Cozie, I know someone whose house caught fire thanks to squirrels smoking in the loft. Well, chewing on the wiring, apparently they love it.

Take PB with you Grin

LanaorAna2 · 08/05/2018 22:22

In fairness to the squirrels, the houseowner had done all the DIY himself since the 1950s. You are almost certainly at no risk.

Ollivander84 · 08/05/2018 22:24

O is hiding away at the thought of squirrels. Terrifying he says, and PB can go look, he will stay with momma

Tree rats........

PB is a strange mix of fearfulness and bravery. I bring him out in spots but then I guess I must be a giant! Small things are fair game, though. Wink

LanaorAna2 · 08/05/2018 23:36

He's trying to impress you by hunting ie providing for the household. And showing off. He knows you are on the same side, really.

He is slowly coming round to you. He thinks you are coming along nicely Grin

LanaorAna2 · 09/05/2018 10:17

Woken up at dawn for ham.

InTheGhetto · 09/05/2018 13:47

The last two nights, Ghetto has taken to actually sleeping with us! He seems to have discovered that he can sleep peacefully at the foot end of my side. He'll also stay in bed with me until I've decided I've had enough of a lie-in. Such a gentleman. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 09/05/2018 16:47

What a compliment! Sleeping with cats is the very best.

cozietoesie · 09/05/2018 17:07

He's a real honeybunch. Smile
