Remember that there are many who'd put their hands up if you wanted to mail him elsewhere :)

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 11:01

Grin I've left him alone while I venture out to the shops
NMC number 678 is rolling around with the communal banana

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 01/05/2018 11:03

Banana is still hot news here.

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 14:11

O is trying to catch a wasp. The wasp is outside the window and he is inside. It's not going well surprisingly

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/05/2018 14:14

^ would it be any better if they were both inside though? Grin

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 14:18

It would be quieter if he wasn't whacking his paw off the window....

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/05/2018 14:25

I was thinking more of a terrified wasp, terrified cat, aggressive wasp scenario [which wasn't going to end well for either of the O's or the wasp].

Weezol · 01/05/2018 19:15

I found half a wasp when I moved some books a while ago. It would seem Weezolcat was exercising portion control.

LanaorAna2 · 01/05/2018 19:56

Mr C's done an Oli - sat on my chest, smugly, for the past half an hour. Received homage, graciously scent-marked my glasses and watched me trying not to fall asleep.

How PB and moth?

cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 20:01

I had no sleep last night so have been crashed out much of the day. He's had to amuse himself.

Oh C bad luck - the freezing night wouldn't have helped with that. Discombobulates the system. Hope tonight is a bit better, throw on an extra duvet.

Have you tried flinging the windows open an hour before bed and whacking the elec blanket up to nuclear simultaneously. This is expensive but you get fresh air, cold head and cold pillow (narcotic) and hot body (ditto).

Pillowcases from the fridge work too.

Bet PB came on to check up on you - :)

Have you seen the 'or did we get sold defective cats' thread - it's new. Even I know the answer; OP bought a pair of Siamese. Don't tell her too much, she's already very concerned :)

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 21:05

"You don't like babybel" I said to O as I held the remnants of it out for him to view
O - grabs babybel and runs off purring Confused

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 21:09

A sack of Babybel was the one thing that Oneago ever nicked. Grin

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 21:09

I think O swallowed it whole. There wasn't much time in between stealing and vanishing

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 21:10

Saw the thread, Lana. Smile

cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 21:12

I went up to the bedroom to a scene of utter devastation. Pale fawn carpets and that red wax that Babybel are covered in?

cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 21:14

I think that Oneago may actually have snored that afternoon! Grin

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 21:14

Grin I shall watch my cream carpets closely

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 21:15

Cream carpets?? Are you mad? Grin

Ollivander84 · 01/05/2018 21:18

Well they're sort of twisted pile so they don't look too bad. This is the carpet, 11 years old so not doing bad despite Ollies attempts to keep throwing up on them

Did you ever get it out? Middle-aged question par excellence.

Little Oneago could be naughty, we never knew Grin

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 01/05/2018 21:39

I want carpet in the bedroom but I know Harry would sharpen up on it. We've got floor to ceiling sliding doors on the cupboards and the inside is carpeted (the previous owner, not me!) and Harry slides the door open, goes in the cupboard, sharpens up and walks off!

I think I'll settle for white laminate...

cozietoesie · 01/05/2018 22:26

I could live with 'sharpening' - Twoago had small pieces of offcut wedged under things for that purpose - it was the projectile vomiting - that got me.............Sad

LanaorAna2 · 01/05/2018 23:18

Mr C punches holes in hard floors for laffs. I spent ages sorting out authentic old skool 30s black and white lino. It is lace now. I don't mind really.

Chin up C. At Lanatowers a hard day is invariably punctuated with offstage pet retching. 'At least Mummy found the sick!' is our way of staying cheerful.

My ceilings are coming down thanks to the shaking and drilling from construction site opposite. Perfectly legal and correct behaviour to your neighbours, apparently - as long as you own a £125m builders. Not sure a judge would say the same thing to an arsonist or a burglar, both of whom generally do less damage.
