Evening all, this is a new thread all about gorgeous Heidi, following on from the thread started by Gatekeeper.

We answered her thread call to give this tiny kitty a new home and we drove from Devon to Durham and back in 24hours to do so...

Now Heidi is settling well at our place after being looked after perfectly by Gatekeeper, and this thread is all about the new life of a very little and brave cat with the bushiest tale known to catkind!

If anyone can link to the original thread it would be much appreciated :)

Just love the idea of her little friend calling for her. 😻

lostinsunshine · 20/05/2018 21:05

Such a lovely update. Thank you!

Gatekeeper · 19/06/2018 12:28

aww I missed seeing your update but it's made me smile this afternoon. LOVE thinking about her friend calling for her . Sherlock would just knock seven bells out of any cat trying that

StewPots · 20/06/2018 08:31

@Gatekeeper yes it's very cute. We can't make out if her friend is a stray though, he's very straggly looking but doesn't look underweight so...he won't let us get near him to have a look properly.

DH is told me no, no more cats!.... but he's away most of the summer so I'll get round that Grinif little chap turns out to be homeless, well then...won't be for much longer!

@kissthealderman we're not sure if it's a boy or girl kitty, but it's so cute because it waits outside the house meaowing for her to come out 😂
It rained the other night and DD said they both stayed in the carport, Heidi refused flat out to come in and leave her mate Grin

I wish it would approach us but it's very skittish. I am tempted to leave food out but so many fat kitties round here (including the very large and grumpy Alfa male of the close who has shown Heidi who's the boss around here Grin) I don't think it would get a look in!

@StewPots - I hope Heidi is well! I often think what a wonderful story this is.

MrsCatE · 09/02/2019 02:52

Hello! Any updates on Heidi? Flowers

Fluffycloudland77 · 09/02/2019 07:55

I’d also like to know if the other cat was a stray too.

Florelei · 15/03/2021 20:24

@StewPots - I don’t know why but I often think about Heidi. I hope you are all well. Xx

Gatekeeper · 20/04/2021 06:33

@Florelei I was Heidi's first mum Grin and hope she and Stewpots are doing well. Ive rehomed another 3 cats since then and I expect there'll be more as I seem to be a magnet

Florelei · 20/04/2021 11:58

Hi @Gatekeeper! I remember your username as well! How wonderful that you’re still rescuing cats!

Gatekeeper · 20/04/2021 12:30

actually that should read 4 cats as we kept one!
