Realised I filled up the last thread with inanity!

Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

She's severely overheated at the moment - on her early morning walk she kept trying to get into the water, and she normally hates it. I've left her in the coolest place in the flat with a big bowl of water and sprinkle her with cold water from time to time

I know this is the litter tray but....
Next door's new dog looking over the fence wondering what the kittens are up to, plus one of the kittens living dangerously having discovered the boat.

I think someone should explain to Basil and Sybil that it is far too hot to sit outside (all day) on garden furniture wearing fur coats.

Ohhh I automatically go to the litter tray then realise I have nothing to offer as mine went last night!

I guess you only come here for information, for cat to be admired, or to admire other cats. I'll pause and regroup and come back and admire :)

Retrieved from prison ( cattery) and following me around wailing. Slumped on the floor, gazing pathetically.
He's not been eating apparently, he's wasted to skin and bone (OK, down to about 6.5 Kg) and I feel horribly, horribly guilty 😥

He's trying to make sure you never do that again to him. Cats will always make you feel.guilty even when you're at home.

I'd say he's pissed off that he couldn't maintain his kill record in the cattery!

He's murdered three mice since he's been home, but so depressed he's not even played with them, just slaughtered and eaten.
He had pulled his bed over his head and hidden at the cattery, which is what he did at the rescue and the first few weeks here, I couldn't even see him at first

Oh, I didn't realise he gets so stressed, sorry. You have him home now. Try not to worry. He'll settle soon.

I didn't know how he'd react. We have always used a cat sitter, but she went AWOL, so risked a cattery. It was a perfectly nice place, but he's regressed to how he was when we first had him.

He's still getting his point across! He'll be fine in a couple of days.

One of my cats runs whenever my mother turns up and she hasn't taken him to the vet in years. He flees out the catflap and has to be coaxed back in with cuddles and treats. He mostly wants the sympathy vote.

Maisie is too hot and has been beseechingly patting my face - apparently my not controlling the weather is completely unreasonable.
