Realised I filled up the last thread with inanity!

Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Best kitten toy in the world ever - scrunched up Shredded Wheat wrapper. Endless games of football plus carrything them around all over the house. (Finding them everywhere)

You must have to get through a lot of shredded wheat to keep them happy!

I generally eat 4 for breakfast so two wrappers per day (one for each kitten ).

Sybil is curled up in a basin.

Yay!!!! Ernie update! Pity he's been a naughty boy. He's probably celebrating spring and the thawing of his toilet.

Well Ernie's toilet is still soggy so not sure where he's going..there are paw prints in an area I have sown lawn seed...last night he got under the netting where I was attempting to Ernie proof.

He's just fallen off the windowsill into the poppies and looked at my quite puzzled

I'm having trouble posting pictures on thi s thread...tried today and last night and a few weeks ago. Dont seem to have any problems elsewhere

We're away on hols and the cats are with their grand-humans, who have gone a bit catnip mad on Amazon.... We're going to come home to 2 very stoned kitties!

I think you should cut your holiday short. By the look of the photo your cat is clearly suffering from separation anxiety.

Barbeque last night. Sybil jumped on a chair and then seemed rather grumpy because we hadn't set a place for her.

Today a small dog made the mistake of coming into the garden...it had to be rescued form being chased around the garden by Ernie

Ern is now strutting round chest puffed up and tail puffed up like a bog brush

Cat just peed right next to me on the mattress. Yup, thanks cat.

Luckily it was on a mattress topper and I had bought a new one due to coffee stains anyway, but I have to work up the energy to wrestle with it. I have been doing the laundry and moving things round today so think she got confused.

Well Ern was a tad upset this morning. We overlap a garden at the back by about 10 ft. with a Cotswold stone wall between us and neighbour has Leylandii (well maintained not huge). Ern loves to doze in the shade..it's were he is mostly if he's not in our garden. We call him and moments later he appears at his hole in the fence.

This morning workmen took out the Leylandii. Ern originally hid under the car then was pacing back and forth while they chainsawed. Went and had a really good nosey when they left...dont think he was impressed at all

We picked up the cats from their holidays yesterday. They seemed not too angry with us but Freya meowed allllll the way home while Maisie quite sweetly licked her head.

Today they've both been glued to me, like little furry shadows. Sweet, but somewhat dangerous on the stairs!

Oh gosh that reminds me...I have to find Ernie a cattery. He's been rejected from two...one was a good couple of months ago the woman was 'waiting to see if another person got back to her' and when they didnt said she would have to say no. Strange way to run a business..I assume it was a regular. Another 'luxury' one doesn't have room so will probably have to be the Gulag

I went to see a film last night with a friend. Got back at midnight to find DCat on the landing rail - nose poised to kiss me! He looked very pleased with himself - he had left me a kitty present (aka a dead mouse) in the bedroom door way for me! Ewww!

He has cornered the market in mouse catching, being too stupid to catch birds (why do they fly away?)! He’s brought us 8 mice in the last couple of months!

DW decided to have a brief lie in this morning.

Not much happening in the house this morning. One girl upstairs fast asleep and the other one considering her options. Stray cat hasn't appeared yet.

Grumpy poor DW! I'm so jealous - I want nice car plus cheeky kittens instead of my evil cantankerous, evil, HUGE, bas*&#d Beast.
