Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Paws is back. And brought a friend. Neither of these cats are mine

Mind you, we're due for a cold snap, so it's good that Paws has come "home"...

Apparently there's an invisible "cat spa here" sign outside. Paws has explored and disappeared off again

Dcat’s ears were cold today when I kissed them. Would love to get him a feline version of these for the winter

I have been trying to take spooky photos of the cats with these halloween facebook filters, but they just keep looking too darn cute!

Ollie is whining he is a Halloween cat and wants to go play in the dark. Not happening!

Mine surprised me by plonking himself in the doorway and glaring goulishly at all the trick or treaters. I thought he'd leg it as he's not used to a lot of visitors!

Oh honestly abso, very silly.

Yesterday I planted bulbs for Spring Cheer. Spent ages - special Art Nouveau planter with hints of purple for the hyacinths, delicate neon green pots for the daffs, dragged compost back from Poundland on bus. Left to settle outside overnight. Lovely, get me.

This morning all the bulbs had been dug up. I removed the pots. Mr C dragged me onto the balcony, stood there mewing, jumping up and down with crossed legs where the pots were. He was v angry his row of portable toilets had been moved.

Been job hunting recently, and as a stopgap I accepted a temp role starting today that's PT evening work. Cue walking in at 8:30pm to 2 very disapproving glares - they have got used to me being at their beck and call just about all day every day recently so to be out of the house 5 hours was clearly unacceptable in their eyes. I had to give them dreamies followed by supper before I could even get to the loo (let alone put my own food on).

I should point out that the cute kitty lantern was DP and not me! The cats did enjoy all our little visitors though

Meh it's a PT stop gap doing data entry at the warehouse for a delivery company, so not exactly the most exciting role in the world. But the people there seem OK.

Cats decided that to punish me they would mountaineer at 6:30 this morning, over me trying to sleep. When that got boring they moved on to racing around the house (with the odd bounce over the bed), so I gave up trying to sleep. Boycat didn't even demand his morning cuddles in bed today - I'm in trouble aren't I?

Allergic stand firm! I always tell Mr C I am out foraging for 'snack tokens' when I am out at work. He gets it. You're hunting & they should respect that.

Took Leroy out last night - let's face it, he's got the perfect costume for Halloween!

He goes perfectly with the pumpkins and his winter coat is coming along nicely!

I spent a fortune on a cat house for my dear puss to keep him warm when I’m not around and the little bugger loves it... or rather loves sitting on top of it!

Any ideas how I can encourage him to use it?
