Realised I filled up the last thread with inanity!

Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Leyroy's brother from another mother is incubating this year's winter ruff!
Scarlett looks teeny next to Leroy 😁

She is tiny Weeds, a delicate little scrap... with a mean right hook 😁.

Leroy's ruff seems less impressive this year, certainly not as impressive as WeedsCat's. Maybe I shouldn't have been so hasty to whack the heating on 😂. Give that ruff a skooshy from me please!

caoraich · 28/10/2017 00:00

Oh sagely he's a beaut! Poor wee guy.
I once had a dog who got very matted fur and a tiny bit of talcum powder rubbed into the matted fur seemed to help when combing it out. You might need to use those round ended scissors to snip into the edges if they're big.

Here's maisie and I having a grooming session. I assure you my hands are not furry but are apparently very lickable!

Definitely, she's never been gone as long as this so we are thinking the worst

Weedsnseeds1 · 28/10/2017 00:57

Oh I hope not ollivander Sad
Fingers crossed for her safe return.

EachandEveryone · 28/10/2017 12:50

Bloody hell my plan was to keep the baby in forever or as long as physically possible!! I think with all the comings and goings of catching the kittens she got nosey. Do you like her tail? TCN said she’s going to be big I don’t know cats though.

That's not a tail . It's a ferret attached to her bum.

dementedpixie · 28/10/2017 14:21

Does anyone else's cat chew boxes? Storm is slowly destroying the box he sleeps in. One day the sides will collapse and he'll roll right out of it!

dementedpixie you do wonder what goes on their heads, don't you? Storm's a beauty.

Fiona1984 · 28/10/2017 15:40

The kitten just abandoned me in favour of the warmth of the Sky box. He's now miaowing/squeaking at me and looking like regrets his choice.
As I type he's come back to curl up on my neck again, bless him

WetsTheVet · 28/10/2017 16:38

Landed myself with two stray kittens for the night! The nurses at work have been taking turns to play mum but they are all having a Halloween party at the practice tonight so I got stuck with the fuzz balls. This is two of four babies we currently have in at the moment, as well as two abandoned puppies. Don't know what's going on.

The black one was found in a shed with his sadly deceased siblings and the grey was rescued from a conveyor belt at the dump Sad

caoraich · 28/10/2017 16:51

Aww wets that's so sad, poor wee fluffballs. Sounds like you're giving them the best possible start though. Am I right in thinking that kitten "season" for feral cats is usually earlier in the year? makes you wonder where they came from :(

Today I have had visitors. Freya and Maisie both identified the one who's afraid of cats immediately and sat on his feet Blush - he did do very well at not totally freaking out though!

Looks like the nurses are doing a good job - the black one has an enormous belly on him Grin.

Thingvellir · 28/10/2017 17:56

Thingcat posed in her homemade (by DD) witches costume next to the pumpkins. She was motivated by Dreamies! Keeps DD amused...

Wets you're in good company tonight. A sad start for the little mites, but things are on the up for them now.

Lanaorana2 · 28/10/2017 22:33

Each talk about a Tail of Two Kitties.

Kinell, that beast would go through the channel tunnel, and block it.

dementedpixie · 28/10/2017 22:37

One of mine has an impressive tail too

caoraich · 28/10/2017 22:49

Thing cat looks distinctly not amused Grin

I'm loving all the tail pics

Freya has just rather uncharacteristically joined me on the sofa lying right on my chest while I binge watch mindhunter study, and done loads of head rubs under my chin. She's usually a "Russian trapper hat" sort of cat. I ruined it by trying to take a selfie and very selfishly moving my arm Hmm

Ollivander84 · 28/10/2017 23:02

Ollie is snoozing on his chair, occasionally waking up to blink at me. He will only use his cat bed if it's placed on the chair Hmm so obviously it now lives on there

Vinorosso74 · 28/10/2017 23:17

Yet That's not a tail . It's a ferret attached to her bum.

Grin it is like another creature! She does look like she's going to be a big girl. Ours has a long skinny tail bit like the rest of her.

Thingvellir · 28/10/2017 23:45

Thingcat does look a bit unimpressed but was happy with her unexpected bounty of dreamies at least! Photo was necessary to update her Instagram page in a seasonally appropriate mannerWink

EachandEveryone · 29/10/2017 09:26

Dolly took her tail out again this morning whilst i made a cup of tea. Im still feeling sorry fir myself for working the extra hour. Do you think it makes a difference if she goes out on her own or is pairs better? Is 7 months too young?
