Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

Yikes!!

That's just a long German word for 'cat bed'. Unpack box. Throw contents. Leave box out. Happy cat.

Ruhrpott · 10/07/2017 14:01

I can speak german. Send any questions this way

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 14:05

I've found - in the B........- a short passage in English. It starts off with very stern warnings about how the thing is only supposed to be used for the purposes designed etc etc. Do they expect you to have a long and admonitory conversation with your cat? Grin

I have visions of Newboy lurking behind the curtain and sniggering at the warnings

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 14:11

It's the thought of trying to warn a cat against doing anything at all. Shock

We used to have frankly batshit neighbours. They complained one of the local cats was standing outside their house and winding the dog up. They insisted something was done. Like a serious chat? Complete with finger waggling?!?! Grin

UnbornMortificado · 10/07/2017 14:25

Cozie can't tell you how happy this thread makes me.

Congratulations.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/07/2017 14:32

Wolfiefan - you weren't the one making pies from your neighbour's berries were you?

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 14:59

The upstairs sitting room is just a jumble of pieces now. Plus an empty box. Smile

I'm studying the Bedeinthingy and have a glass by my side ready. (Well the sun is over the yardarm in Singapore! Grin)

as long as you have The Box.

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 15:11

I have The Box. (And once this toffee vodka hits the spot, I may even be ready for assembly! Grin)

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 15:38

OK. I've put the P1 and P4s into the A using the W3s. I'm now going for the W8s. (Glug.)

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 16:06

I've run into trouble with the W8s.

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 10/07/2017 16:07

I would suggest more vodka but I suspect that will make it more tricky Grin

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 17:33

What can I say? It feels like a woman's design with the instructions articulated by a man I've got to about 4.6 and I've still got some pieces left. Newboy is behind his curtain,
.

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 10/07/2017 17:35

Is he eye rolling or glaring disapprovingly at you? Grin

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 17:41

He's fearful. C'eat la vie.

OP posts:
Ski37 · 10/07/2017 17:47

You've got to 4.6... how big is this thing?😂😂😂 ? I presume you are aware that Newboy will have been watching all of this with contained amusement and as soon as it is finished he will declare himself by refusing to touch it and ( hopefully) deciding the rest of the house is much more amenable 😹

Ski37 · 10/07/2017 17:56

My last post was obviously in jest... I hope it came across that way 😬 I'm as anxious for Newboy to settle in and to see a photo as everyone else x

Ollivander84 · 10/07/2017 17:57

Maybe that is what cozie planned all along? You build the big thing then they sleep in your lap Wink

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 19:37

He.s apparently not used to sleeping in bed.

When .i mentioned this to the Recsue Coordinatos, she sort of gulped. (I might as well have said to her
You do realise he has 18 legs?' I

OP posts:
HemanOrSheRa · 10/07/2017 20:36

You OK there cozie my dear?

Ollivander84 · 10/07/2017 20:37

Maybe she passed out from vodka and Newboy is writing his list of rules out?

cozietoesie · 10/07/2017 20:45

I'm we,ll, thanks. As is Newboy,

(I think.)

OP posts:
HemanOrSheRa · 10/07/2017 20:50

Ah good. Your post at 19.37 looks like you may have been overwhelmed with P1's and 4's into the A's and keeled over Grin!
