I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

Daphne having a morning sniff of cat mint. To don't worry about her on the balcony anymore I just hope Dolly is as sensible!

Do you know who it lives with? Smile

caffeinestream · 21/06/2017 12:23

It's a couple of houses down I think - seems quite friendly! I've seen it in the garden a lot, but it's the first time it's tried to come in :)

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 12:25

Does it get on with your own household?

Ollivander84 · 21/06/2017 12:31

Ollie was "comfy comfy HOOMAN" on my legs last night

Mine are indoor cats @cozietoesie - there's no real animosity there though. I think he's neutered and just curious - his "girlfriend" lives next door!

Maybe you'll have to become friendly with his people to find out about him? (I tell you, playground politics are very limited compared to owning outside-going cats. Grin)

Oldraver · 21/06/2017 13:04

Poor Kenneth, I hope he is soon on the mend.

For the last few weeks I have noticed what I thought was an old cat with quite a limp. I've tried to get him to come to me but he is very skittish, look on lost and found and not on there.

Yesterday we were looking for Ernie and he was on next doors drive with this cat just a few feet apart. Cat disappeared into next doors garden and Ernie followed.

Now Ernie is usually erm quite ansty to any other cat have had a report of him duffing up other next doors cat. He chases any he see's and growls a lot form the comfort of the windowsill. I think he may have a friend

See what happens when the weather turns.

caoraich · 21/06/2017 15:02

Got this from DM.

I had to haul Seniorboy from the top of a door once. (I have no idea how he made it up there. He was about 17 at the time.)

Well done. (That's both of them?) Smile

EachandEveryone · 21/06/2017 18:04

Yes i hope sge will be ok. They only had indoor luxury suites left £160 for the week. TBH were alot cooler than my flat. Daphne was straight out of her carrier and into the den in the cat tree. Dolly came out and if left the carrier in there incase. Bless her i hope she doesnt think ive sent her back. Its a beautiful place silverhillcattery.co.uk/cattery/ i feel so much better than them having a sitter.

I should be on my way to Glastonbury instead im off to see my dad they are starting chemo this week.

Ive now got loads of cleaning up to do before i go. The girls are getting on well im sure they will be fine.

EachandEveryone · 21/06/2017 18:05

God this ipad is on some kind of delay i hope you can understand that!

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 18:07

It was fine. Smile

I hope all goes as well as it can.

EachandEveryone · 21/06/2017 18:34

Daphne gave me the most horrendous hiss as I left even though she was nearly asleep. Proper teeth bearing she looked very ugly I have to say. It threw me!

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 18:41

Strange surroundings might rouse some deep instinct if she was nearly asleep. Wait until you're all back together again. Smile

Oldraver · 21/06/2017 18:57

Well, just went to fetch Ernie in as he was out the front and found him with a little black cat (next door but ones, a girl).. She scarpered but he was also with his black and white friend. Who led him astray and over the stone wall into a garden. Not too happy with him being there as the guy has form for keeping cats in (had huge trouble with him in the past) and there is access to the road.

I know eventually Ern will find his way out, but I do worry as our last cat got run over. Anyway after a bit of calling friend cat came back over the wall followed by Ernie... cat is looking rather scruffy and I think may be a stray.

He looks better in the picture but close up is very scaggy. Will have to do a bit of digging to see if he belongs to anyone

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 19:02

Good stuff. You could end up with - as near as darn it - a matched pair. Smile

Oldraver · 21/06/2017 21:19

That's what I was afraid of Grin

He does look very unloved and has had a very pronounced limp (could't see today). When I first saw him a few streets away I thought he was very old, and 'that will be Ernie in a few years as he has an injury.

I think I would be ok taking on another cat but not sure about an injured one. We know that Ern could cost us some money in the future, as he wasn't insured when he fell out of the tree, and we are prepared for that.

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 21:47

Poor old codger. Limping alone and hungry through the snow..............

Ollivander84 · 21/06/2017 21:48

I have finally persuaded Ollie the fan is NOT evil and now he's asleep in front of it Hmm

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 21:55

Well why not? It's his fan after all. Wink
