Poor old codger. Limping alone and hungry through the snow..............

Freezing cold. Not knowing if he'll make it.

Ollivander84 · 21/06/2017 21:59

It is now! Before today it was an evil terrifying thing Hmm

cozietoesie · 21/06/2017 22:18

Of course. 'I like it now so it's mine.' Grin

Most darling babies have been up all night, in and out of the bed, under the covers, batting my face etc. Maybe the heat and light makes them think it's daytime. They had me up at least 4 times.
We're moving on the 2nd. I need to buy comfy cat carriers suited to a 5hr car journey. Any recs?

Poor Kenneth is having a rough time of it Sad

His wound is breaking down. Hoping it'll keep until the infection has cleared, he's booked in for Monday for more surgery.

Baby Helga is refusing to get up this morning.

@iloveeverykindofcat I have this one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00KIQFHJU/ref=mpssa1113?ie=UTF8&qid=1498126344&sr=8-13&keywords=cat+carrier

Only disadvantage is I need to cover the sides to help them tolerate the sense of motion.

Otherwise it's great!

Mine are hydrating...

That's the water fountain Ernie has and he loves it as he prefers to lick water off something rather than an open bowl.

I ordered some new filters on Tuesday for next day delivery as I have been a little remiss this time round replacing them Cleaned the bowl out and yesterday morning he turned his nose up until the new filter was in. This is the cat who will usually drink any manky water.

Ollivander84 · 22/06/2017 12:04

Ollie is horrified at the cat that's shouting outside. He's bustled out on neighbourhood watch to check CAT FINGS (otherwise known as look horrified at the noise)

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/06/2017 20:01

Kenneth is having the worst time. Is he messing with his wound?.

Scribblegirl · 22/06/2017 20:06

Merlin and Percy are on graduated freedom - ie they're currently out when we're in the house without supervision but in when we're at work.

Came home today to discover they'd managed to knock the battery pack off the fancy cat flap - fine until I realised the cat flap has now forgotten their microchips so when they come home I have to wrestle them though the flap again Confused that'll be fun...

Weedsnseeds1 · 22/06/2017 20:46

oldraver , your new cat is very cute Grin

MaidenMotherCrone · 22/06/2017 20:48

@Fluffycloudland77 no he's wearing a medi suit so can't get at it. The vet did say there was a chance the wound could break down.

Even though he is poorly he does look effortlessly stylish rocking a roll neck.

Poor lad.

Is DS2 at home at the moment?

TheCatOfAthenry · 22/06/2017 20:59

Biscuit is having a lovely stretch. Getting quite big - will be 10 weeks old on Monday.

I'd have thought you'd be too hot at the moment? Smile

Ollivander84 · 22/06/2017 21:07

Eating a dab of clotted cream off my finger Blush he loves cream and luckily doesn't have any problems with lactose!

@cozietoesie me?

I'm across the little auld pond and it's cooled down a little here!

MsHooliesCardigan · 22/06/2017 22:22

Kenneth is the most amazing name for a cat (speaking as someone who has a Dave)

RubbishMantra · 22/06/2017 23:45

Oh, poor Kenneth! Thank goodness he found his way back to you, and that he answered your call, MMC.

Little M threw a Justin Beiber type tantrum at the indignity of being zoom groomed in the garden. He wanted to chase the bits of loose fur blowing in the breeze, not be groomed...

cozietoesie · 22/06/2017 23:54

We had birds who would take the hair for nesting purposes. (Eventually, a pair of ravens decided to cut out the middleman and just take it from the dog's back as he sat on the lawn - he's a very tolerant animal. Grin)

RubbishMantra · 23/06/2017 00:39

It probably felt quite nice - like a back-scratch, but a bit pecky.

Ollivander84 · 23/06/2017 01:08

Ollie just got out of bed to throw up twice. Thanks for that(!)

iloveeverykindofcat · 23/06/2017 07:02

Thecat that does look good. If you don't mind me asking, how big are your cats and what size do you have? I'm bad at visualizing measurements. Bibi is a big cat (6kg) and Zara is about 5.5 but compact and muscular.

Ollivander84 · 23/06/2017 08:17

Ollie woke me up again at 4am to say he was "on MA death bed and could I have a little tasty sumfin please human, I'm a bit hungry"
I may have muttered that if he didn't gulp his tea down so fast he wouldn't have been sick and therefore not hungry Hmm
