I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

I'm sitting in the upstairs cats living room, on a chair that's never used. She's harassed me until I had to get up and let her sit on it. She's now jumped down from said chair and is going loopy running round the room, hollering and scratching the sofa, the doors, with her tail flicki my all over the place! What an absolute DIVA. All because I've had the audacity to invade her space. What a f***g liberty!!

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 20:41

Well it was out of order. Smile

Want2beme · 11/06/2017 20:42

Flicking not flicki my!!

Want2beme · 11/06/2017 20:43

MsHooliesCardigan Crispie's tummy looks like mine, minus the lovely fur!

Want2beme · 11/06/2017 20:51

cozie she's a spoilt so & so, but only I get to see her brattish behaviour cos she's afraid of everyone and everything. She's been with me since she was 4 years old and I adore her.

Bogburglar75 · 11/06/2017 20:57

Re growling cats, BogCat is the most laid back and friendly lump you could imagine, but has an awesome bass growl which reminds you he could be a stone of wildcat straight off the Siberian steppes if he wanted to

I've heard him employ it a) when attacking his own wet tail convinced it was a snake and b) when presented with one of those semi-moist treat sticks Smile

Want2beme · 11/06/2017 21:18

4 weeks old not 4 years old - aagghh!!

cozietoesie · 11/06/2017 22:38

Is she an outside-going cat? Smile

Want2beme · 12/06/2017 00:23

Nope, inside mostly & only goes outside with me until something spooks her, then she runs back in.

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 00:29

Ah. So you control her food intake? Smile

TheCatOfAthenry · 12/06/2017 02:02

Biscuit is being adorable...

This is the first time I've seen legendary stablecat! Well, if I had to imagine the kind of cat that would survive ingesting 50 paracetamol, it would be her

She's beautiful, but kind of looks like she could kill a man.

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 11:26

Biscuit is almost edible in that picture. Smile

ElizaDontlittle · 12/06/2017 13:07

Playing and 'helping' open a box. I am struggling more and more to keep him in the room he's in! He is very inventive and scratchy and bitey if thwarted although everything is a game!!
He's going for his first lot of jabs on Thursday - he's going to have acres of space in the box!
How much time should I be spending with him, and playing with him? Between managing my CFS and work I am feeling guilty that he isn't getting enough attention.

Ah @ElizaDontlittle he knows he owns you. Be nice to yourself!

So turns out Biscuit is actually a little on the chubby side. I got a second opinion after the last vet was so rude and unhelpful. 9 weeks exactly today and 1271g/2.8lb. I'm quite relieved, and sort of resented being seen as neglectful!

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 14:01

Did the second vet comment on how wonderful Biscuit was? Grin

TheCatOfAthenry · 12/06/2017 14:10

Yes! Much happier.

Ollivander84 · 12/06/2017 14:16

Ollie just fell off the bed HmmConfused

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 14:21

On his own steam ? (Or were you implicated?) Smile

Ollivander84 · 12/06/2017 14:24

He was rolling over while gazing adoringly into my eyes and blinking and holding my finger with his paw. And forgot he was on the edge of the bed and toppled off HmmGrin

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 14:47

I hope sincerely that you didn't attempt to help him then? Smile

Ollivander84 · 12/06/2017 14:51

He looked very sheepish and clambered back up to do this

cozietoesie · 12/06/2017 15:01

That's fine. Smile

ElizaDontlittle · 12/06/2017 18:23

Ollie Grin
Lots of kittenish moments like that here - falling in your water bowl, jumping into things without looking, falling off things... babycat is endlessly entertaining.
Thank you Athenry - he is great - I guess I worry about what if I'm in bed for 12 hours, recovering from being out of the house at work for 11 hours? Even though he gets play, cuddles, food, etc in between those things... and a friend is popping in at lunchtime on those longer days. I'm worrying too much?
