I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

If it was a fang wound rather than a claw wound then he'll need antibiotics. Apparently cats' mouths are absolute cess pits Shock

TheCatOfAthenry · 04/06/2017 21:17

They had a bit of a wrestle on my shoulder (lying down) and are now snoozing.

Want2beme · 04/06/2017 21:41

Early morning chin scratch.

GirlCat stayed out for the night - she who normally goes out for 5 minutes per 24 hours! When I let her in this morning, she gave me a long speech of silent miaows, seeing as she has no voice!

cozietoesie · 04/06/2017 22:02

You don't have a curfew, Check?

Lanaorana2 · 04/06/2017 22:11

Chin scratches are the best.

Mr C is sneezing and has been sick a touch. Is still asking for food.

cozietoesie · 04/06/2017 22:12

Is he sneezing a lot?

Lanaorana2 · 04/06/2017 22:49

Twice today Cozie. He was checked over on the 22 tho, and they mentioned the sneezing but said he was all right.

cozietoesie · 04/06/2017 23:46

That's not too bad. It's just that Seniorboy had residual flu and I recall that when he got to about 17 - how old is Mr C? - his immune system seemed to falter and some opportunistic infections etc came around.

Are his eyes and nose OK?

Checklist · 04/06/2017 23:47

We don't let BrotherCat out after dark, but as SisterCat never stays out for more than 5 minutes, we did not think there would be a problem getting her back in - but last night, she ignored our calls! SisterCat has chosen basically to be an indoor cat; something to do with being born feral in December, we think!

cozietoesie · 04/06/2017 23:48

Ah. You'll maybe be changing tack from now on? Smile

she came in the house!!!

Only for about 5 seconds and immediately wanted to go back out when I shut the door but she came in!!!

Lots of dreamies for that

cozietoesie · 05/06/2017 15:00

How is the weather with you? Smile

Soubriquet · 05/06/2017 15:04

A bit on the chilly side but it has been colder and she has been quite happy laid in her bed sheltered from the wind and rain.

Caught her asleep in the compost pile yesterday Hmm must have been warm and comfortable

Iris65 · 05/06/2017 15:09

Kitty woke me up at 7am as she realised that my alarm hadn't gone off! She'd already been fed at 6am by the Cat Mate which we bought to get me an hour's more sleep.
She's been napping all morning, sometimes on my lap, sometimes in the wardrobe. She loves that fitted wardrobe. Its going to be a huge shock when we move house!

HotelEuphoria · 05/06/2017 15:10

Well one has been locked in the garage since first thing this morning and I have just discovered her.

I have therefore just been scrubbing and disinfecting the floor where there was a very massive and rather sloppy mess left for me.

TheCatOfAthenry · 05/06/2017 15:20

@Soubriquet that's huge progress!

LemonRedwood · 05/06/2017 15:27

Soubriquet that's brilliant Smile

Was having a lively cuddle with his Highness but the click of the camera disturbed him and now he's stalked off in a huff. He's trying to decide if he's in a bad enough mood with me to go outside in the rain.

Soubriquet · 05/06/2017 15:30

Yeah I'm chuffed to bits.

It's a huge step for her to even attempt to come in the house. If I had left the door open, I think she would have stayed in a bit longer which I'll remember for next time.

When she comes in again, I'll leave the door open and feed lots of dreamies.

cozietoesie · 05/06/2017 15:41

She likely wants your company then. Smile

Soubriquet · 05/06/2017 15:41

She's a lot friendlier. She even chirrups at dh now.

Before she would no where near him.

cozietoesie · 05/06/2017 15:46

You've acquired a new dog haven't you? Where was the dog when she came in?
