I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

I think Cookie is a very special girl . She is obviously a loving and sweet natured kitty.

@HemanOrSheRa she is an incredible cat.

Was found emaciated and covered in dirt, probably having been locked in a shed.

Showed up at the local women's shelter looking for friends, and made it to the local SPCA only because she wanted to be an indoor cat and they understandably couldn't offer her that.

I drove by the animal sanctuary one day after a tough shift at work and happened to pop in and she tried to follow me home. They told me she was friendly but had never been that happy to see someone before.

And we love and adore her!

Niles and Frasier are great names for a pair of cats!

I took Freya out on her harness this morning and my neighbours were - don't care, she got to chase flies :)

They are now using the cat carrier thingy as a hammock. Never mind that there are actual cat tree hammock thingies all over the place. I do feel for the wee floofs though, most of their stuff is fleece covered and it's boiling. Found them both lying in the bath this morning, I presume as it's nice and cool!

Today, his Highness is being taunted by the birds nesting in the big tree outside. They know they have the upper hand, being able to fly and all, and they keep parading in front of the open patio door an flying up into the tree whenever he so much as twitches an ear. The sentry bird has been tweeting cat warnings all flipping morning to all the other birds and is driving me slowly insane can't hear the tv

Biscuit looks tiny on his own but compared with Cookie, not all that small any more. Love how happy together they are, same with Freya and Maisie.
Hetty has been pottering around - there are feathers All Over The Lawn which she denies knowing anything about. I haven't seen an actual bird though - if it got away it must be a bit bald

The one BogCat was wearing last night when we caught him lying full length in the hall, hauling himself along the carpet of the bottom step sideways like a giant sloth ...

I've been away and I left her with a cat sitter she was eager to go out so even though it was dark I let her. It's been an emotional few days at home. She's now in and we are watching Katy Perry from last night

Came out the bedroom to the sight of both kitties eating food off the carpet....wtf! Couldn't comprehend why food would be upstairs but then figured one of them had puked up their breakfast and they were both eating it up again - not envy! Neither of them look or are acting unwell so figure they just ate too much too fast. Don't know who the culprit is yet

Glad you are back home and Daphne looks relatively unphased by the whole thing each my lovely . I hope you aren't working today and spend the day relaxing with your girl.

This was my girl on moth watch last night and on my lap this morning.

Right. It's official. Leroy really does wait for me to go to the toilet so he can go! I've been saying it for weeks and no-one's believed me.

I just walked in to my bedroom, Leroy trotted out with a "mi-eow", sat in the bathroom doorway with another "mee-iow". So I walked in to the bathroom and he sat by his tray...

Leroy: {looks at me} Mi-eow
Me: Go on then
Leroy: {gazes at me} Mouw
Me: I'm here
Leroy: {looks sad} Miw

So I sat on the toilet... and yep - he got in his tray.

It's like having a toddler. I half expected him to want me to wipe his bum.
