I'm afraid that Seniorboy died late this afternoon. At the vet's. I have some very very fine whisky waiting to salute him with and I am just going to go and light a candle for him. I probably won't be around for a few days - or if I am, you'll have to bear with some rather tipsy posting.

I'm sorry you're hurting - not a regular on this part of the forum but came on here to wallow about our Russian blue 14yrs who we had to put down almost a week ago. Our Bengal is mopeing around and is sitting in all her favourite spots as if to claim something back of her. Feeling rather emotional and then had a chuckle at your Lik-e-Liz comment. Our little girl loved it and I fed her about 6 on Thursday before taking her to the vet because our bengal hates them and they were 'her' treat.

I'm so sorry cozie. I'm not a cat person but I have just had to take myself off to the toilet to wipe my eyes before my dh and dd tried to figure out why I'm in tears over a. St who belonged to someone I read occasionally on the internet.

I loved hearing about Seniorboy's antics and he will be missed here.

Hope the whisky is good. Sat and watched the sunset last Thursday with a glass of wine in hand - it was beautiful and felt like a fitting way to say goodbye

Oh no, Cozie, I am so sorry..........Seniorboy was a Mumsnet Litter Tray legend and will be very much missed by us all . Sleep well precious boy.

He's at rest now, maybe. His memory is strong with me, though.

He was a wonderful old lad, such an age! And clearly quite a character. I've loved hearing about him & I will miss him.

RIP Seniorboy, MN legend.

Even The Lodger will miss him, I guess. He never managed to get him 'on side' after all.

Heartbreaking for you When they get to their teens, there is always the knowledge that this sad day will come, and you make the most of all the time you have with them.
