......will one day falter.

I'm afraid that Seniorboy died late this afternoon. At the vet's. I have some very very fine whisky waiting to salute him with and I am just going to go and light a candle for him. I probably won't be around for a few days - or if I am, you'll have to bear with some rather tipsy posting.

My Darling old lad.

cozietoesie I'm sorry I'm late to this thread I haven't logged in for a while, so sorry if I'm repeating what others have said before. I'm not even a long term litter tray poster but I know that seniorboy, was an institution, a great character.

You must miss him terribly and I am saddened to log on and hear this news, its a wrench to lose our beautiful pets and he will leave a very large seniorboy hole in your life I know. I am so glad that he had you, and I hope you can take comfort that you were a big part of his life also.

cozietoesie mate, don't know how I missed this. Long term friend but namechanged a lot recently, I am gutted, so, so sorry. Flowers

Thank you both.

I lit candles for him which helped everyone. He had many years and two bonded 'people' so did pretty well all told. I miss his presence but I feel no guilt at his passing. It was his time.

Good, seniorboy was loved to the ends of the earth.

Of course, he lived like the king he was. My mum felt the same when her 16.5 yr old corgi passed away (ancient for a corgi). She was grieving but not guilty - he led a long, grand, indulged life and was happy until the end.
