Snorgmaiden has been admitted to the emergency vets with a high temperature, conjunctivitis, and enlarged stomach and enlarged lymph nodes. Thought something was t right last night but not overly worried. Slightly worried this morning but thought I was being neurotic. Took one look at her when I got home from work and straight to the emergency vets. Hopefully an infection but worst case may be lymphoma. She's having loads of tests Tonight and they will ring me later. Need my hand holding you lovely lot. Sad

Just had one of those satisfaction surveys from the emergency vets. Said I was very happy with their care because they saved her life. Got a reply back giving condolences on my loss!!

Just been to the vets for final check up. All well, though she's lost a bit more weight but she might have just had a poo. Will take her to get weighed in a couple of weeks. The vet looked after her when she was really poorly and just can't believe how well she is now. (Neither can I) Thankyou all for the lovely comments and hand hold. You were a huge support.

Snorgmaiden is a warrior! And may now have many treats :D. When I first rescued Beebs her outlook was poor - vet suspected feline aids as her condition was so poor and she had chronic bloody diarrhea. I'll never forget the first checkup he saw after her gorgeous glossy coat had grown in and she was starting to chub out. He was an old school, unsentimental type but he said he was amazed, she was like a different cat, and that she was a very strong girl. Its a great feeling isn't it? (tickles and prawns for Snorg)

Prawns? She wouldn't know what they were! She likes baked beans i have discovered!
