Anyone snuck three dogs into center parcs

Has anyone snuck an extra dog into center parcs? Really want to book one lodge for myself, husband, daughter and parents but we have three dogs between us.

Two of the dogs are same breed so could pass as one, but I’m working out how to you get past the entrance? Do they record number of dogs in each car?

I would hide the smallest one but she’s noisy 😆 so it would be our largest one who would need hiding as she’d keep quiet.

It’s two labradors and Jack Russell. Just seems expensive to pay for a whole extra lodge just to accommodate a dog!

Do they? All people think dog owners are dickheads. I don’t . Far reach there

There are endless threads about entitled dog owners taking their dogs everywhere, even places that are dog friendly. Subjecting everyone to our dogs and you can’t go anywhere without someone bringing their dog or encountering a dog.

People think all dog owners are entitled because people like OP will try to flout the rules.

@FlipFlopZebra Evidently, three dogs are only an issue if they bark, so I propose you leave all of your dogs with me, and I will loan you the demonic chihuahua to take on holiday with you. He barks, and he bites, but he fits within the two-dog rule, so everyone will be happy.

The only issue is that he may also bite you. The rules appear to be:
If you're a stranger, he will bite you
If you're not a stranger, but he doesn't like you for reasons only he understands, he will bite you.
If he does like you and you're not fussing him, he will bite you
If you stop fussing him before he's ready, he will bite you
If you keep fussing him when he's ready for you to stop he will bite you.

Oh I love a chihuahua! My friend has a toothless one that can bite 🤭

I’m such a rule breaker 😁

I had a holiday rental, allowed 2 dogs. Most people who had 3 contacted me. 3 Jack Russells, no problem. 3 Newfies, big problem (small cottage). Some people did take more dogs than allowed without asking which is very entitled (neighbours questioned to me 3 big dogs). I did get annoyed when people took the piss but once they were there what can you do? Just ask and accept the answer.

I think I will send an email, been looking up other posters alternative suggestions and like the look of Sandy Balls so far, so debating if that could work instead

Is there no way you can’t board one of the three or keep them with a friend? My friend boarded one of hers, brought her second and I had mine with me in the same lodge. They checked our car over and took the names and breeds of the dogs.

suki1964 · 10/07/2026 22:28

Another reason not to waste money on going to Centre Parc

Its sold as a pretty exclusive holiday and now we have those that think the rules arent for them

I wouldn’t be able to choose which one to leave. Another option is we go with my brother too and then we’d need two lodges and three dogs would be within the rules then, but they’re hard to pin down for weekends away due to a hobby that fills their weekends.

They Bark at strangers when off the lead… I then said she’s always walked on a lead…

I was simply highlighting at check-in she’d probably be noisy if a stranger came to the car. Literally the only situation she would bark.

but sure take my words and twist them to fit your narrative :)

Also a bit scared you know exactly what they are like? Are you stalking me? Have you met my dogs in real life?

I just took your words. Your words. But you just twist your reality to suit what you want. That’s what you’re going to do. Why seek approval here? Dunno 🤷‍♀️

You took my words and cropped bits off to fit your narrative and remove context! Make it make sense 🤭

I think anyone who thinks CP is exclusive, is in for a disappointing time. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and it works for extended family gatherings with children of all ages (and dogs). But it’s basically butlins with bikes.

Could you hollow out one of the labradors and fit the Jack Russell inside?
I think I saw something like it in a cartoon once - or it might have been in a horror comic.

Or get the three dogs to stand one on top of the other and wear a trench coat?

Dog boarding costs less than an extra lodge! Perhaps get a free sitter off borrow my doggy. Get them to meet your pack, do some trial day sits/sleepovers and leave the one they get on best with?

Having experienced and used both, I disagree!

I just don’t think I could, they’re all family so I’d miss them too much

Thank goodness they took the names of her dogs! Did the dogs confirm their names?!Were there spies in the trees ensuring the dogs responded to the given names?

So genuine question. Why ask here if you think you should smuggle an extra yappy dog in if you only wanted to hear from people who thought it was an absolutely terrific idea? Do it, or don’t do it, just don’t expect applause.

Wheresthebeach · 10/07/2026 22:42

Why do people think they are clever for trying to break rules, and be sneaky bastards? I blame Boris

I asked here if anyone had snuck in an extra dog before. That’s what I asked.

I am not sure where I said I wanted or expected applause?

What if your dog has more than one name? Our demonic chihuahua is called Beelzebub, the evil one, the fluffy one, fluffster, brainless, the haunted Victorian child, demon, Damien, Quack, Quack-a-lack, quackster, the evil duck, toilet buddy, and treseme boy.

He answers to all of them or none of them, depending on his mood. Do we have to pay for one dog or do we have to pay for all his inner demons too?

BitOutOfPractice · 10/07/2026 22:44

anyway, since I would rather eat my own head then go to CP since the kids grew up, the point Is moot anyway. Have a lovely break op. I’m glad I was never next to someone like you.

Because she said so in the op. Hth.

MyThreeWords · 10/07/2026 22:47

I have a recurring bad dream in which I am holiday in Europe with my dog and become suddenly aware that I had smuggled him through customs without any rabies jabs/documentation, and am horrified/frightened at the thought of having to repeat the same smuggling to get him back into the UK.

Does anyone else have this dream? Often with recurring dreams I find that they are quite commonly shared by other people.

I don’t think I specified which was the “extra” dog actually. In fact I think I alluded to one of the labs being the extra. HTH
