Anyone snuck three dogs into center parcs

Has anyone snuck an extra dog into center parcs? Really want to book one lodge for myself, husband, daughter and parents but we have three dogs between us.

Two of the dogs are same breed so could pass as one, but I’m working out how to you get past the entrance? Do they record number of dogs in each car?

I would hide the smallest one but she’s noisy 😆 so it would be our largest one who would need hiding as she’d keep quiet.

It’s two labradors and Jack Russell. Just seems expensive to pay for a whole extra lodge just to accommodate a dog!

Because she said so in the op. Hth.

ah sweetie she said the yappy dog was the smallest not the extra, her subsequent post said she wouldn’t be able to decide which one to leave behind!

Use the filter to look at OPs posts, so have the full knowledge?

HTH!

Look up "Fraud by misrepresentation" to see if it fits what you are thinking of .

I reckon you have blown your cover.

The centre parcs dog police will read this and be on red alert

You're thinking of the Trojan War, I think, when an army of jack russells burst out of a wooden labrador and defeated an entire holiday park.

Thanks for making me laugh! :)

I have a recurring bad dream in which I am holiday in Europe with my dog and become suddenly aware that I had smuggled him through customs without any rabies jabs/documentation, and am horrified/frightened at the thought of having to repeat the same smuggling to get him back into the UK.

Does anyone else have this dream? Often with recurring dreams I find that they are quite commonly shared by other people.

Oh I do! 😂 But I’m not sure I should admit that on here… people will be slating me for planning to smuggle a dog in my hand luggage next.

I always think of the Scooby Doo movie (I think!) where scooby dresses as a human for the plane 🤭

I literally have just come back and can confirm when you arrive they look in the car, ask to see each dog and take their name and description. Not sure how it would work hiding one, they didn’t look in our boot but certainly looked in the car including the back seats. It’s a risk I wouldn’t take personally but I can see the desire behind the thought. We had 3 dogs between us so booked 2 lodges. Side note-we found the dog friendly lodges were very tired looking and needed some work doing really. Though I guess that depends on which village you are going to?

Thank you it’s good to hear from someone who’s been so recently with dogs - it’s Longleat one we’d be going to

I once had one of those hyper-real dreams, where you have to take a minute to figure out what's real when you wake up. I was in Paris with my mum's Akita, when he jumped on a hot dog stand and ate all the hot dogs, and the owner of the stall forced us to stay in Paris selling hot dogs for him until we'd paid back all the money, but the more hot dogs I sold, the more the Akita ate. I was trapped in Paris selling hot dogs forever.

The night I left exh ds had his hamster in a travel cage, we stayed in a Travelodge & asked the reception if it was okay to take the hamster in with us, the receptionist laughed & said it was the first time they had had a hamster as a guest.

yes sweetie!

I was being kind, because you’d got it wrong… my bad! You need to filter the OPs posts and also read the OP again, she never said the yappy dog wax the extra! That was your personal understanding, not the facts.

You’re a fool and you’ve blown your cover, you aren’t fit to own a dog (or three!), the dogs will likely be ceased.

notamumyet2010 · 10/07/2026 23:03

We went to Woburn. Sadly I do agree with other posters that we didn’t find it overly dog friendly to be honest with limited places they were allowed. That being said we went during heat wave number 235 this year so we couldn’t take them out much anyway. Have you looked at Bainland? We find that much more dog friendly although there is less to do there than CP

Did it leave a review?

And well done for leaving and taking the pets 👏

CrowsInMyGarden · 10/07/2026 23:04

I can't believe all the posters who are so uptight about "The rules". I mean I understand don't let your dogs off the lead at CP, make sure you pick up the poo, don't leave your dogs in the apartment if they are going to bark - in short be a good dog owner, but honestly if you take an extra dog with you and you make sure you don't leave a mess what is the harm? Absolutely none. Apart from a rule has been broken and Mumsnetters do not like others who break rules.

Thank you for the support :) it does seem a bit ridiculous I can’t see how it would impact other people sneaking in a third. Especially with four adults looking after them. Although someone will probably be along to tell me I’m entitled for thinking that but I honestly can’t see how.

YourAquaLion · 10/07/2026 23:21

Can you disguise one as a cat 🐈 or a hamster? 🐹

columnatedruinsdomino · 10/07/2026 23:22

If you haven’t booked already, the chances of getting a dog-friendly lodge for the dates you want are pretty slim let alone if you end up deciding you want two lodges! Elveden used to be impossible unless you booked about two years in advance.

Tell the truth op, you don’t own a dog do you? Many dog owners are massive arseholes, but not as bad as you. I call bullshit.
And if not? Dog rescue exists because of people like you. Your poor dog.

Such anger and spite over so little. Calm down.
