Hello PodSquad,

Thank you for being on this crazy ride with us.

Here's the OG thread if anyone wants to go back and laugh at how staggeringly naive I was adopting my first rescue pup: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/the_doghouse/5177112-oh-my-giddy-god?page=1

Could someone please explain who this dog is in my house and what they've done with Pod? Because he's been absolutely angelic today. Truly a wonderful, wonderful dog and even coped with my DF and DPs pal coming over for Sunday dinner and sitting up getting merry on red wine.

Or perhaps the collective will on MN have given me a SERIOUSLY needed good day. What a star. 🥹

Oh my giddy god...... | Mumsnet

I can't actually believe I'm finally typing this... I think I'm getting a dog! I've wanted one of my own my entire life. I had one growing up and l...

Every time I read Podlife my brain puts the tune to Blur's "Parklife" to it 😁

Same!

@HangingOver you can't leave us all hanging from POD's antics! New thread please!

Am crap with ideas for titles, so no help at all on that front sorry 😳

Also ... don't wanna get slated, and everyone has their own opinions/ideas, but I've just purchased Adaptil for my anxious DPup, Feliway worked for my super shy cat, so hoping for similar for my boy. Anyways point is - I did think of you and Pod, and if it could help?

I've only got The Pod Life (ref to the Good Life) for those not as mature as myself!

I wouldn't be at all averse to this in principal but I'm not convinced from the reviews that they do anything. Also I don't think he's that anxious really, I think he's just a dickhead.

A dickhead, you say? Might Pod have a distant relative greyhound in his bloodline, by any chance? 😂

Abbaa · 09/01/2025 11:29

What @Twiglets1 said..... "Pod Life" a la Blur Grin

Abbaa · 09/01/2025 11:30

Sorry, just realised it was @LadyGrillingSole who said it originally.

FeralWoman · 09/01/2025 11:47

Yes please to another Pod thread!

I’ve become quite attached to him in a parasocial way. I’d miss him if the threads ended.

@HangingOver So basically a dickhead hormonal teenage boy who is all long gangly limbs and still getting used to their new voice, but looks like a baby angel when fast asleep? I assume that they do. My teenage girl looks like a toddler again when she’s fast asleep.

Reading these threads has really cheered me up during trying times so how about:
Pod brings joy amidst the chaos
I hope that's what happens anyway

Ah see in my house Pod IS this chaos.
