Hello my fabulous Podsquad, here is Podcast Thread III.

For anyone that is new to this thread, it's about my rescue dog, known as Pod.

for if anyone would like to go back and see how astonishingly naïve and traumatised I was by taking on a fully grown, teenaged pointy dog who seemed determined to destroy me and everything I love.

Theatrics over, here is the Pod in question (obviously I've edited the lead out - I'm not mental).

Hi Hanging and Pod! Just checking in.

Lurcher girl had a great time at the vets yesterday. Had to get her booster and blood test for thyroid. She adores the vet and the nurses and receptionists make such a fuss of her, with treats, so she's thrilled.

Oh I wish wish wish I'd had a spare hand to take photos tonight at Scentwork class, Pod was SO delighted to see his retriever pup friend from last term that he practically launched himself through a floor to ceiling window to get to her and they kept taking breaks from the class to snog each other.

Unfortunately the constant borking from the other dogs are putting him off his stride and he doesn't really get the Scentwork challenges but we will practice at home. Trainer kept coming over to give him little treats and cuddles which I thought was really sweet.

He's behaved really nicely today, two great walks.

I'm feeling gross from my flu shot BUT I did miss out on my alcohol free beer with dinner because I was REFUSED SALE without ID at the age of 38. The shop worker was very apologetic but I was delighted. I knew that new retinol was good! Pod is crackered now.
