Could someone please explain who this dog is in my house and what they've done with Pod? Because he's been absolutely angelic today. Truly a wonderful, wonderful dog and even coped with my DF and DPs pal coming over for Sunday dinner and sitting up getting merry on red wine.

Or perhaps the collective will on MN have given me a SERIOUSLY needed good day. What a star. 🥹

Tbh Id have no qualms kicking a dog to get them off mine in principle but the fucker was huge he could have eaten me and Pod 🤣

Apparently a finger up the dog’s butthole will distract them. No idea if it’s true or safe.

That may be true, but I can’t see myself going for a strange dog’s butthole while it is attacking my dog 😂

I don't understand people who walk dogs offlead in streets or beside roads. Or in parks near playgrounds. I'm all for offlead in quiet woods and beaches.
A debonair walking stick is a nice accessory.

Everyone does it here. I think it's seen as very cool and surfy to have your doggo off-lead terrorising pods trotting next to you

You would have a better chance at reaching the butthole with a walking stick too.

Ours is called Marvin, I can't remember why.

Oh poor Pod, and poor you. This happened to my boy, attacked so badly he needed many stitches. The next day I made sure I kept everything as normal, his usual walks with his usual doggy friends. Even though I was terrified I would meet the doggy culprit again, I kept as calm as I possibly could. He was fine, and we never came across that dog and owner again. As the saying goes keep calm and carry on x

I dont know I'm afraid, generic petshop brand. But most people I've mentioned it to know the one so that would suggest they're common in independent pet stores.

So a few days ago I put the sofa pillows back on the conservatory sofa. He's been so bonkers the last few days the door has been shut the whole time.

Today I left the door open by mistake and went upstairs. Would anyone like to take a guess what happened.

He slept soundly on the newly found softness that has entered his world
Meanwhile back irl he ate them.

Pod turned himself, his octopus, Kenneth, and all other toys with faces into sheep.

I reckon (hope!) he jumped up on the sofa and snuggled down for a nap.

I am hoping for 'nothing, he went to sleep'... everything x'd here!
