Could someone please explain who this dog is in my house and what they've done with Pod? Because he's been absolutely angelic today. Truly a wonderful, wonderful dog and even coped with my DF and DPs pal coming over for Sunday dinner and sitting up getting merry on red wine.

Or perhaps the collective will on MN have given me a SERIOUSLY needed good day. What a star. 🥹

They (hard dogs) really do have a habit of pushing you as far as they can and then reverting to The Goodest Of Good Boys just quickly 🤣

Oooh I wonder if he'll become a weather forecaster like my two. They'd scream incessantly wanting to go out (most unlike them), have the quickest of toilets and run straight back in (very, very unlike them) and inevitably it would piss with rain within the next 5mins! Ddog2 still does this so I know when the weather is about to change!

That's extraordinary?? They ought to be studied! Air pressure maybe?? How amazing!

Pod went with me and DF to a cafe yesterday! We sat outside obviously and only got ice creams but he waited well enough taking treats for a good ten minutes before he got whiny. I gave him a tiny taste of my dairy free raspberry.

Yeah we figure it must be air pressure or something as its really quite cool to see it and they were only ever wrong twice (or they really needed to go 🤣)

Did your boy originally come from Galgos de Sol in Murcia? I follow them on TWiX and they often have Podencos. You're brilliant BTW.

OMG, do you have a Podenco? Yaaaaay, enjoy the ride. He’s adorable. I have 4 rescue Pods (from Malaga and Lanzarote). Awesome, if err quirky, breed!

He looks so much healthier and happier now.

My dog doesn’t mind gentle rain, but if it hammers down, he looks at me, and has the expression of ‘why are we out? ‘.

Got my first pod in 2017. Always knew I wanted a hound and a friend has a pod. They are addictive! Defo not a breed for the faint hearted though, lol. So clever, and loving, while also being very strong minded with a mental prey drive and no recall to speak of. Pic of my youngest in a rare quiet moment!

Yeah that all sounds familiar, the prey drive is absolutely off the charts in this house!

I really hope his name is actually Pod because that's a brilliant name for a dog!
