DDog managed to get hold of and eat three of my migraine pills. Vet doesn't seem too optimistic but has said she'll do everything she can. I won't know anything until tomorrow morning but please please, if you're reading this, send positive thoughts our way, I know he's only a dog but he's a part of my family.

Get better peanutdog. They are part of the family and not 'just' a dog. I'll think of poor pooch they are buggers for eating things they shouldn't for you.

They're never just dogs. I am sending all my positive thoughts to you. Five weeks ago our dog broke her back and was paralysed from the waist down and I expected the worst. She took her first unaided step today, wobbly but ok.
Preying that I read something similar from you tomorrow.

Not only a dog at all, but definitely part of the family, was looking at my fit, active 8-1/2 year old boy today, and getting teary thinking of the time when he won't be here.
